With all these color variants, I am going to have to give up the notion of one day becoming a CollectA completist (It's far easier to obtain a near complete Papo collection). At least, there are options.
Ummmm.....did you mean Rebor?

Yes, definitely. Probably wrote that late into the night. I have no intention of becoming a CollectA completist  ;D

Are the grab and go vinyl line like the pnso huge Dino lines ? Are they as fragile ?

Minmiminime

I think they're mostly going to be 1:35 scale, though Lonesome George will be 1:6. I don't know how the material will fare fragility-wise, but I do have the PNSO Chunkingosaurus and find it pretty robust. I also have the much smaller Kaiyodo rex which these new models should fall in line with size-wise, and have no concerns about the durability of that, either ^-^

Vinyl is actually the choice material as durability goes. It's just flexible enough to be resilient.

They sure have a lot of published photos of the baby Baryonyx. It's quite cute and the exaggerated features may be attributable to neoteny.  I especially like the eyes (gives off this realistic wet and beady look)

Minmiminime

Ooh, that is good ^-^ I've got a few of these, I'm not to sure how I feel about them as a concept (maybe too cute for my liking..!), but the final product is always very well done and people who visit the house do like them

It does not traumatize me that a figure is made of vinyl. In any case said figure when it jumps I will have it in my shelves for exhibition, I do not have the figures as toys, precisely I will not play with these figures.

In my case except for an accidental fall of my shelves I do not think that it has problems of durability. Honestly I do not care that prehistoric animals are vinyl. In fact I have ordered the diprotodon.

REBOR have been a bit quiet lately (apart from the announcement of the cute Baryonyx hatchling) but they usually tease something around the Christmas period or New Year especially considering the Killer Queen Rex is supposed to be released in January let's keep our fingers crossed for some exciting announcement.
We live in a Jurassic World

Shonisaurus

I am waiting as "May water" the two tyrannosaurs "Killer Queen Rex" and there are only a month and a half or two months left to see them marketed in the online shops of a lifetime. They are honestly much better than it is logical that their tyrannosaurus rex this past November or rather "vastatosaurus rex" although these are not logically dinosaurs are like the Indoraptor, but I have to say that they have become very dear figures for me of Jungle and Mountain (especially the vastatosaurus modality of the "Mountain") I hope to see the new tyrannosaurus rex of January.

And in February we have three Titanoboas by Rebor with three color modes along with the crocodile prey. Without a doubt, these are also highly anticipated figures.

Regarding the baryonyx breed coming out of the egg to be resin sincerely I'm not interested in that figure, pretty but resin.

Looks like they made some changes to the rex

Shonisaurus

Tyrannosaurus and spinosaurus scientific versions of Rebor look magnificent even with unpainted figures. It will be interesting to see them with the paint touches that the Rebor brand will apply.

They look great and immense.

Could you elaborate on the changes? Nothing sticks out to me.

They added some detail work and changed the maxilla a bit, though it could just be the photography/angle. The head is also a bit larger.

Jetdin

i love how both the killer queen and spino look!

both may actually end up being my first rebor figures.

its quite hard to find a rex figure with proportions like sue (body way more massive in comparison to head as opposed to JP rexes with proportionally larger heads )

empire3569

Anyone else feel like Rebor is kinda getting bland? I mean when they first came out everyone was super excited because of how detailed and well done the sculpts were, but then they just became so repetitive with therapod after therapod, JP clone after JP clone. And it takes sooooooo long for one of their models to actually come to fruition. They have been teasing King Trident for years, and we haven't even seen a prototype

Especially now that PNSO has come onto the scene, delivering equally high quality/ detailed models, AND putting a lot of research and accuracy into them. Not to mention other Chinese companies like W-dragon (yes i know their rex is JP inspired, but their Allosaurus is incredible and easily one of my all time favorite models).

I just feel like Rebor promises too much as delivers too little, and the stuff they do deliver isn't that special anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up struggling from all the upcoming competition, especially if PNSO keeps going in full force like they are

Syndicate Bias

The grab n go spino and rex are nice. Might get the spino but PNSO has the best spino, wang long tan? Is that how its spelled? Has the best Allosaurus ive seen, and thanks to minimimme we saw more of it and i loved it so definitely getting it! Rebors jp rex is nice so ill get it but thats it for now. With PNSO and more chinese companies coming out with very detailed products and far more interesting choices i think its safe to say that we wont be too limited on choice which i feel is why Rebor and Papo even got this far honestly.

Reminds me of AMNH 5027 in the skull.

Minmiminime

Maybe it's just the lighting but that rex looks a bit angry and a bit hungry! Like all their products I'm sure it'll look far better when it's finalised. The Spinosaurus, though...That to me rivals the PNSO one, and it should be cheaper! It's absolutely beautiful. I would love to see them get out of their comfort zone and do more herbivores. If they can get their heads around the fact that ornithopods were ornate, exciting and massive brutes rather than dull, simpering prey items they may actually do them some justice, but at least theropod fans are getting spoiled for choice
"You can have all the dinosaurs you want my love, providing we have enough space"

Shonisaurus

Honestly, I like both Rebor theropods (the prototypes), although I am aware that they will not be commercialized until 2020 at the best of times.

On the other hand Rebor could reveal more photographs of the deinosuchus nicknamed "Meta" and sarcosuchus nicknamed "Lica", sincerely the two prehistoric crocodiles as both theropods of Rebor are my most awaited figures.

The three titanoboas fortunately and with a little luck if everything goes well in Rebor, will be marketed in February.

Minmiminime

Looks like Rebor are going into other lines, this Megalania is a bit of a surprise! https://www.facebook.com/555146104612402/posts/1904605302999802/
