Shonisaurus

Although I have to admit that the Schleich dinosaur replicas from the Humbold Museum in Berlin are a little "retro" they have their charm. In fact for me they were highly anticipated figures throughout the year (they came in September) and many figures such as shonisaurus (despite the years is a great figure although it has changed the appearance according to new scientific developments), edmontonia and desmatosuchus (this much better than the mini Safari replica of "crocodile tubes"), to give three examples were mythical figures of my late youth.I have very good memories of the Schleich of that time although nowadays they surpass the current Schleich figures, especially the of these last two years.

That's a beautiful model! Whose skull is lying on the ground there? Inostrancevia, I suppose.

..yes, the kit was discontinued on 2018.. I was planning to buy this model from years (I love animals from Permian); I found one and I immediately bought it..  ;)

Originally the kit was commissioned to Mr. Shane Foulkes by a DTF member (2013):

Bokisaurus

You have a fabulous collection, a Reviewers dream selection! Have you ever thought of writing up a review for some of your collection figures? You have so many unique ones that the Blog could use some infusion.
I know it's a lot of work writing a review, but maybe one day. I would love to read a review written by you :)

There are strange dots all over the Sarcopterygian's skin.
What is it - is it on purpose - to reflect any attribute of the animal -

or is it just a by product of the production process ?
