[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

The Liop is sweet!

Did you actually freeze your mammoth? lol  I remember doing that as a kid to some dinos...part of a scenario in my head where they frozen and then thawed out and came alive again to terrorize my brother's G.I. Joes.. lol

Arul

Great photo  :) rebor is great for diorama, especially the trex. That tarbosaurus, is that from green running trex papo ?  :D

Very nice! I also like the frozen mammoth-- I saw a kit in a department store like that once, where it came with toy prehistoric mammals and ice molds. I also like the liopleurodon. How did you get that effect?

Thanks for the compliments Pachy and Iam glad you asked. The Liopleurodon photo was shot with a Canon macro lens to get a narrow depth of field. For the background I used an photo I have taken off some water in motion. To get the model "floating" i used a clamp on one of its fins that are out of frame to get the pose I wanted. I added some blur effect (in Aperture 3) around the Lios face to get the illusion of beeing under water. Finally the light effect on the face was achieved by using a small LED torchlight to shine trough a glass of water to get the stripes of light. :)

Thanks, that's a very good idea to use a glass of water. I've tried lots of different methods and haven't come close to this. Thanks for sharing.
