Given that not everyone will look in this thread, I think it is okay. Actually thought about doing it myself.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Everyone...don't forget the people who make movies are bigger fans than us...they love this stuff. that being said I noticed one of the concession stands in the entry concourse was called 'Winstons' a reference to Stan Winston and his effects work on the first movie?
Winston's serves Chilean sea bass as well.
I hope Alejandro is working at Winston's.  He knows how to do Chilean sea bass.

Marvel's Kevin Feige congratulates the cast and crew of  Jurassic World in a special way:

Seems like Rexy is worthy the powers of Thor!

Congratulations Jw !! Plot twist : trex deserve to rule asgard and slay the bilgesnipe

A brief snippet of the theme from The Lost World is heard when Blue charges the Indominus before she tries to finish off Rexy.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

I keep seeing the name "Rexy" turn up when referring to the Tyrannosaurus in the newest movie, but I don't remember anyone in the movie calling it that...is it a fan thing?
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

I think Rexy is a fan name for her since the first movie, sort of like "The Big One" or "Clever Girl" for the alpha raptor in the first film.

I see,so it's just a way to tell the Tyrannosaurus from the first movie from the others seen in the first two sequels. :)

I believe it was the name of the adult rex in the book, however everything else involving the name is just fans.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Muldoon maybe have said something like " Let's go out and see Rexy and give him a dose." That was as close as it got. I'd say it's a fan name to be sure.

Saw it once yesterday and I loved the call backs. One that I don't think has been mentioned, when I rex leans down to peer inside the gyrosphere instead of the constricting pupil of the T rex from the flashlight in JP you get the nictitating membrane moving across the eye of I rex as a contrasting call back.

I tried to check and see if the Jeep numbers matched up between the one in "Jurassic World" and the several in "Jurassic Park" but I couldn't find a match. I believe the Jeep in JW was number 29, not a number seen in the original movie. Seems like a missed opportunity but all well, at least they had the Jeep at all...even if it was silly that those kids got it to start.

The jeeps in the beginning of JP are #18 and #29. Hamond and Gennaro's jeep was #29 and Grant, Sattler and Malcolm's Jeep was #18. It looks like they were parked there shortly after the main characters arrived at the Visitor's Center for the first time.

Thanks for the clarification. It would seem the Jeep in JW was in JP after all? I dunno, wish I had paid better attention.

Here's some pics for you Gwangi :

I'm not sure if the other one was 18 or not but it seems likely.

I've excluded Winston's this from the list because although it is a fun reference, it isn't a call back to the film, as such. Chilean Sea bass would be, but is it visible in the movie itself? Not sure it counts.

I've updated the list, by the way.

I didn't hear it myself, but according to some people you can hear the restaurant staff recommending the chilean sea bass in one of the earlier crowd shots.

I've seen cars sit in worse conditions and for longer periods of time that have been able to work.

Interesting, do you recall any more details? I thought gasoline turns to varnish after several years.

I think I heard a mention of "world famous Chilean sea bass" over the loudspeakers when Owen and friends are heading into the new visitor's center prior to the clash of the titans.

Sorry, im not a mechanic, so I cant go into great detail, but with only a few parts (such as batteries) it is possible. I think it depends on how condensed the fuel is.
