Very much looking forward to this Kickstarter! Though, I think the Atrociraptor's head looks a bit large for the rest of the body, or maybe it's the torso looks off. I can't tell what it is but this one seems odd looking to me  no disrespect intended to David's hard work and talent.

I wonder how the Kickstarter will work, if we will have to buy all previous sculpts to get the ones you really want.

Introducing raptor #3- Tsaagan Mangas! Just the basecoat here but painting on this one is currently in progress. More soon.

Here is the finished raptor #2- Atrociraptor marshalli! Known from only from a partial fossil of the skull and teeth, this dromaeosaur is distinctive for it's deep skull and large teeth. It's presumed that because of this anatomical feature, it's claws may not have been as heavily relied upon as they were with most of it's maniraptoran relatives. Designwise, I thought this would be a great opportunity to pay homage to a 'JP raptor' look for the proportions.

Painting Tsaagan right now- here's an in-progress look at the 'white monster'.

Alright everyone, this is it. All three raptors are done and the campaign page will be submitted to Kickstarter for approval later today.
We're doing this together because this will not work without the help of all of YOU. The support and interest you all have had during this process has been extremely encouraging thus far, and I can't thank you all enough. But now I'll be needing your support more than usual. If you believe in this project and want a higher standard for dinosaur action figures, THIS is where it begins. With the success of this campaign, you'll not only see more figures from me, but it will send a clear message to the toy industry that there is a demand for this type of product and gradually this toy genre will be taken more seriously. Please like, comment, share, blog,- whatever you can do to spread the word- let's make this go viral. Let the toy industry know that we're ready for something better.

I'll be posting plenty more soon, but now I give you an image I've been wanting to do for MONTHS! (I'm sure some of you were thinking it too.)

Now let's go make some better dinosaurs!

I went for the 100.00 one of each option myself.  I thought he was really promoting this line and it's a good thing..125,000.00 is a heck of a goal..we can't even reach 10,000.00 .  I just hope he can pull it off!

I did the same. I too am a little concerned about the goal. That is pretty darn high. So sad too, because I really want these figures, but I fear they won't be made.

Evidently, kits will be available for these sculpts at some point, but I suspect they'll be in resin instead of PVC, and thus annoyingly pricey.

Best of luck to Dave with this project. I supported the Raptor Pack (one of all three). I hope this succeeds so that the big guys will know that people still want detailed, super-articulated toys and not the crap they put out today.

David did say there would be resin kits available of each, though the articulation I think is one of the reason's I'm interested. I can try out out a lot of poses before deciding to make a larger version..  

How large are these again? I don't think think they will be too much in resin. David's prices are pretty good all around..I'm embarrassed I've never bought one of his kits. I was tempted by the first Acro he did and still am but there seems to always be something else taking my money.

Is there really only a month to raise that full ammount, or am I misunderstanding it? That seems like a very narrow window...

It said 29 days, according to sites like Kickstarter and Gofundme a narrow window allows you to raise funds faster.   For ours I've extended it for 2 years and we've just broke 3,000 of our 10,000 goal. So may be..
