Very cool, I'd love to own one of these!  I see that you're using bearded vultures for feather references, too.  ;)  Nice.  Looking great so far!

Roselaar

These look grand! I really hope we'll be seeing this available for purchase some day, I would definitely buy them. Love the different species as well, most of them are quite obscure. :)

Halichoeres

I don't typically collect action figures, but these are making me reconsider.

Oh, and thanks for introducing me to a new raptor, I had never heard of the weird Balaur before now!  I was gonna call attention to the fact that it had two sickle claws, then looked up the critter to find that that's how it was found!
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Problem with Balaur, is that its now known to be a Bird now, not a Dromeosaur

David, May i suggest replacing it with Adasaurus?

Why not do them all?  ;)

Also, I technically didn't specify that they were all dromaeosaurs- just 'raptors' of similar anatomy and size. Think of the balaur as the bonus figure- I am really looking forward to making it so it needs to happen.

That being said- feel free to offer suggestions throughout this process. I am still learning and I want these to be as good as they can be.

I would like it if you stuck to one Species per Genus. :-\

Maybe Do Pyroraptor instead of V. Osmolskae.

I really hope you get to do the Adasaurus.   I liked that name, and i only have one book that covers it in detail.. and i like to picture it RED

Will these figures be in the same league as The Neca Godzilla Figures? (I have the 2014 one, and i like how it can be posed)

Noted on the V. Osmolskae.
Pyroraptor is definitely a possibility, thanks for the suggestion. If I can get a possible 10 raptors out of this project I think that would ideal- and awesome.

BTW- what is the book you're referring to?

And yes, I do plan for these to be at least as good as the NECA Godzilla figures.

I'm thoroughly impressed by what I'm seeing here and am looking forward to what's to come with great interest.

Looks excellent! The detail is excquisite! I'm also very curious to see what the colour scheme will be. Or will these be monochromes, with the intention that fans can paint these themselves?

I hope not, I can't paint for beans lol!

Considering the reference materials scattered on his desk, I imagine David is looking at modern raptors for his color schemes, which suits me just fine!  Also, seeing your silhouette for Zhenyuanlong and how absolutely fluffy it appears, I really want that one!
