nice dinosaurs
who long it takes to make one ?
and also nice website

It can take a While,   Heck I remember When his T.Rex was nothing but a head that Blade started last summer. I assume the Proto will be done before his big Cousin.

So you could make a dinosaur trophy mount of a herrasaurus?
(My design was scraped after I couldn't find chicken wire lol)

Yeah I could. Not sure on price.. I assume you want 1/1 ?

Yep,   It could be something for me to save up for depending on price?

I'll send you a PM.  I was finally able to sit down today and do some figuring. We had a nice 50 person birthday party here. had to set up a big canopy, picnic tables..the works..pretty rough. heh

Thank you on both counts. :)

As Takama said it can be awhile. Our first dinosaur ( I didn't know it at the time ) took around 6 months of me working off and on and figuring out things.

We've pretty much narrowed the process down to a month or two depending on the size, complexity, ect..  the Rex was started last August I think ? He had to take a backseat in October while I worked the haunt then I was back at it. We wrapped him in up April.  You also have to take into a account weather and such. We work in snow, rain, sleet, heat, ect.. lol

Indeed Takama. The Protoceratops is basically done as of today..just needs some paint done. I've had a heck of a time with the motor in this one.

The Trike almost has his body frame done and I'm working on the head now too. I'm guessing a June completion date for him, provide we get enough funds to finish it that amount of time.  That also helped hold Rex up a little..when the money's short we have to slack off. :/

There's just no slowing this Blade down..... woah....
the pliable look of the quills work really well, IMO

lol thanks bud !

Glad to hear it, I wasn't sure, but it looked good on my clowns. Now I'm wondering if the Trike should have a big tuft of it on his derriere. ;)

Your avatar reminds me, I might get to the Quetz sooner rather than later . I basically have one big project then I do smaller ones in between...so depends on when we complete the trike or I finish the Archeos. :) heh

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

Wow. The Proto looks amazing!

The pattern on the T. rex looks amazing (I might be a bit sneaky and use this as inspiration for my Albertosaurus... hehe) and I really love the shape of the Protoceratops' head! Great work, keep it up!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Thanks guys !

I'm able to do so much detailing with this epoxy now..I have to thank our member Ingenia for that push to try it.  If it wasn't so expensive I could do entire dinosaurs out of this stuff. lol

Fabricious, your more than welcome to use the pattern and color. I borrowed it myself from a couple different sources and then mashed them together.. ;)

Fair enough, thanks! This means the second cast of the Alberto will be turned into a diorama. Maybe even for the contest, hehe. :D

Not a problem bud. I'm thinking I might be interested in one myself providing I can afford it at the time. ;)

I wouldn't, then everyone will know which diorama is yours ;).

I think regardless of identity, something really cool and awesome will get votes. :)

I agree with that, but it's more fun to guess who did them. :D
