You're certainly going to be busy! Its nice to see such a variety of species. Oviraptors are looking good so far.

Thanks, I'll have another pic of the 2nd one/female head soon. Still waiting on the eyes to sculpt those in.

Spent all today on a rented lift painting the Apatosaurus. It's been rough..I don't like heights much and 20' in the air in a swaying bucket about did me in! I got on my knees at one point but then my lower back decided to spasm...nothing to do but crouch there til my friend got me back to the ground and could help me up. ugh I'm still swaying..and I have to do it again tomorrow.

Too bad they insisted on calling a mosasaur a dinosaur...  :-X

Yeah...I kept saying "prehistoric creature" the fellow doing the interview kept saying dinosaur..like there was no difference.  :-\

It worked well..but I hate that lift...

Round of applause! Looks great, Blade!
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Looks great! Hopefully sometime I'll actually be able to come and see your park.

Thanks! We're down to only 4 prehistoric creatures with sculpted eyes now. They're slowly becoming " extinct".. lol

That Ceratosaurus is already starting to look scary. You come around the corner and BAM! TEETH! The medium sized theropods were the scariest IMO, just the right size to view humans as food worth chasing down. The super sized predators might not have bothered, but something in the six metre range would probably be very interested in something human sized.

My thoughts exactly. It's all about energy. Why would a fully adult T-Rex bother with something as small as a human? It's not worth the energy running it down, getting through tight spaces, ect to try and catch one.  Now a juvenile say 15' long would be a lot worse. It can easily run us down, get through areas the adult can't and we would be worth it to that sized animal.

Paulo actually looks like he wants to take a bite out of our Pachy's tail right now..

Meso-Cenozoic

Sorry I'm so far behind (actually everywhere on this forum!). This past month and the next two has been and will be crazy because I'm preparing to move in a couple months. I hate moving!! :P

Anyway, Miss Apato looks amazing! Congrats! And I don't blame you being nervous up that high in that little cage. You're braver than I'd be. You couldn't get me up there and then on top of it, expect me to concentrate on a good paint job! BIG congrats on that too! Haha!

Cerato looking real good too. I'm glad you're showing more teeth. I remember talking with you about how little Rebor's teeth were showing on there Cerato. I know the "lips" could cover some, but their big teeth are their trademark. I like their big chompers, and so will the kids!

Glad to see you're getting those eyes in. Wow, what a difference they make, right?!

I've only moved once after my mom passed and that was rough enough I'd hate doing it again. I have helped my brother move around 4 times and I don't know how he keeps doing it...other using me and my family as "slave"labor.. lol

Thanks bud! I was around 20' up and was gripping that rail so tight my hands were white! I kept up a steady stream of chatter with my bud on ground, made me feel less nervous. We took my cousin the full 40' up that it reaches and he shot some pics and video of the Park..hope to get that up soon provided it's not too shaky..  ;)

Yep! I recall that too. I did a lot of looking at Cerato skulls and made the teeth start just about where the enamel on the teeth is. I backed up around a half an inch or so to account for any gum that might have been in there.  A kid with his service dog came through the Park yesterday and asked us " How do you make them?"  I took him over and showed him the Ceratosaurus in progress..he loved it! Ended up asking for my picture with him! lol

"Eyes are the windows to the soul" right? Hopefully the eyes now reflect the rest of the creature more. :)
