I know you don't want to, but you really should start charging people. Even a dollar per person would help towards keeping it running, your park is turning into a business and it needs more money to run.

Hey bud, here's the rough part on that.  The County has deemed we are not a business so we can not operate as a business. If we do, then we are not zoned for commercial and they will close us based on that.  I was told that by the Director herself..also if we were a business we would be required to have much more done if were re-zoned.   So it's true I do want to stay free, but it's also a mandate by the County now.

Ouch. Seems the whole world is against you on this one, I plan on going up to Pigeon Forge in a year or two and I would love to take a detour see your work. Sad to think it might not be there.

Not the whole world, just one careless Director of Planning and Zoning and a couple neighbors whose rights seem to matter more than mine.

Feel free to come on by, even if they do tell me to close it doesn't mean I'll listen.  I live on this property and they can't seize anything..I'm not 100% sure how they will " shut me down" to be honest. Maybe with fines and fees so massive I'll either close to stop them or they'll attempt to toss me in jail.  The latter would not be good.

Thanks bud!! I like Universal's myself being the JP fan I am but here well, we got to try and be accurate at least..lol  I actually think this guy would have been a great critter to see in JP3 instead of what the monster we received but it's all cool. :)

She did this last night, kids getting too close to her offspring makes her a bit wild.  Vet did look her over after she calmed down and had a large serving of fish/crocodile.  Couldn't find one bruise, that's some really tough skin these creatures have!

Holy cow! I already knew Spinosaurus was that big, but seeing the full-size model really rams it home! Awesome effort with this one. :)

I know right? I never saw my first dinosaur skeleton mount in person til I was 20, it still amazed me! I think life size is certainly one of the best ways to truly get a feel for these fantastic animals!

Indeed! I went to the London Natural History Museum twice (once when I was seven, and again when I was sixteen) when they still had Dippy on display in the main hall. Both times I was completely awed by how huge this animal had been. I can remember seven-year-old me pacing it out with my mother. It was a pretty amazing experience.

That is gonna be monumental!
It would be neat if you could have the head curved down as much as it could like it's looking at the teeny little mammals gathered under its paws.

OH MY......

I don't know how you are going to do THAT but if you manage ti.....It would be EPIC!

Personaly I will go with the first two skeletons. And don't forget about the skull, do not give it a Giraffatitan one!

By the way, the Spinosaurus is AWESOME.

It would make things easier construction-wise..but I'm not really sure how much they could lower their heads?   You might lose that impressive "stately" air Brachs have too.   I recall that was one issue with Safari/Carnegie's newest Brachio sculpt.

We are planning things now, I'm just building research material. So far i think it seems possible.

Can you point me to some comparisons?  In the skeletals above they look pretty similar.

Thank you!  ^-^

I was just thinking it'd be a shame not to be able to see your work on the head.
