Great work as usual Blade but what caught my interest is Bela Lugosi from White Zombie. Is that a bust or mask? Do you have a classic monsters collection? Love to see it all in the other collections section :)

lol always something in the shop..heh heh

It was a mask by Trick or Treat Studios, I've converted it into a bust with glasseyes and hopefully a full body eventually.  I'm thinking of making him our ringmaster in The Funhouse Freakshow.

I'd love to add some traditional monsters, Universal's big 5 would be awesome in our Funhouse.  I looked at them this year but man they are pricey to get fullbody versions of.

Yep

Cool

That would be even cooler. One of my "retirement projects" is to sculpt 1:1 busts of the Universal's big 5, just for fun.

I did the same thing with " Pepper" from American Horror Story . I'll have to get a pic of her.

That would a great project.  Universal is just a pain with their high licensing fees,  so if your using them commercially you have to pay. or you find cheaper facsimiles...but they won't look as good.

Nope I just plan to do one of each for my own use. If my eyes and my hands still work.

The reason I don't make more ceratopsians...this. right here. darn frills and their weird, complicated angles!

I think I have this figured out?

That does look like a lot of complicated joinery.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

lol drives me up the wall!  I'ts tough because you need to put the plywood, which acts as a support for the foam, pretty much in the center of your design.

Here's the paper work so far that got me here :

Thank you!  the teeth were a little rushed, I started out with a new method and it didn't work so i had to race around in the cold making them all individually before the Apoxie Sculpt became too hard to work with. whew!

Ichy looks great!

I suppose with the classic monsters you could always do a unique riff on them.

I could... we have a "wolf boy" in the sideshow which is more wolf than boy..lol  but if I'm doing a retro fu house room it would have to have the classic Universal designs..the movie The Funhouse even had the villain dressed up as the classic Frankenstein's Monster.

Wonderful Blaine. You have to make merchandising of your sculptures  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Blade you really do a great job with your coloring book illustrations.  It would be nice if you could find a way to market them on a larger scale.
