Blade you really do a great job with your coloring book illustrations.  It would be nice if you could sell then to a larger audience.

Thank you! They will be available for sale online as well.  Feel free to tell everyone you know to buy a copy.

I don't really know anything about doing that, probably more expensive than i could manage on my own.

What about a kickstarter?

I tried one before but things became...messy when it asked for legal things.  I guess I could setup another Gofundme project, my current one for the park has see lukewarm activity since it was created years back.  I think a big problem of mine is i refuse to own a cellphone. So no instagram, no real twitter posts, no continuous activity.   If i did stop to post what i was doing every few hours it would read like this:  started carving foam on (insert dino name), 3 hours later, still carving foam!, 3 hours later ,  added more foam to carve later!  not so interesting...

You could always sell your coloring book on Amazon. With the Amazon program Createspace you can have your books available for sale, print-on-demand. Books are only printed as they're sold, and Amazon delivers. It's what I'll be using to print my book as soon as I'm done with it.

I suppose the only real issue might be if anyone who contributes an illustration for the coloring book then wants a percentage of the money made off the book. Collaborations can get messy sometimes. Personally, I'm excited to contribute a few illustrations. I'm working on finishing one by the end of the week, so I'll be sending that to you as soon as it's done, and send a few more as I finish them.

Thank you for the opportunity for a little more exposure :)

I was wondering if you had a deadline in mind for the coloring book you're putting together. Since I'm also working on my own projects, it helps to have a timeframe to work in mind. :)

I like the colors on the ichy. Simple and believable. And I'm really excited to see your progress on the Chasmosaur. :)

Interesting.. I'll look into that!

I myself wouldn't be making anything from it, even if it were to sell more the funds are atill all going to the Park which desperately needs it to get the county off our back.  I need a whole new playground for the kids and  I can barely afford gravel. :/

Your very welcome I only wish I could offer more.  Maybe when we get our Dinosaur Art and Memorabilia Museum we can sell prints and such there for all my friends.

I'm still working myself, every day it's cold I crank out a new piece..lol we've had some warm weather so Ive been doing Park repairs instead for the past week.

Thanks, you've no idea how much I almost went a little crazy on it's color..lol  but I think they said a bit back marine reptiles were darker?  So I went a bit porpoise/dolphin still..I can't help but think of them when looking at Icthyosaurs.

I'll try and get more pics of the Chasmo up soon, not done a whole out with good weather I've out of the shop too.

I honestly think you should start a youtube channel. There´s tons of channels dedicated to all kinds of crafting and since your craft is quite specific and also involves the ever-popular dinosaurs, it could at the very least generate more interest in the park.

When I have said merchandaising of sculptures I would try to say miniatures of your works  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

I bet there's several people here who would be happy to donate coloring book pictures to help you out. I would! I don't have a lot of money but I can draw :)

There are! A few have volunteered already. :)  If you would like to draw something for it that would be great! It's just black and white, on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper , feature child appropriate scenes of any dinos in the park here.  thats about it lol  you can email them to them me at [email protected]

The Ichthyosaur looks really good, Chris, somehow ponderous of its surroundings. The others look like they're coming along nicely too. :)
