I hope I don't stop collecting. Unfortunately my hobbies tend to phase in, stick around for a few years, and then phase out. We'll see how this one goes...
I'm not searching for anything super rare at the moment. Within the the last year I acquired the Papo v1 raptor and the Sideshow v1 Carnotaurus at below current asking prices, so I'm considering myself lucky and satisfied.... at least for a while.

Gotta repost this beauty:

Does anyone here think they will reach a point when they will stop collecting? Personally I don't think I will.
But I stopped collecting action figures, for the most part, about 10 years ago and they've all just been sitting in boxes since then. I used to collect safari cards, and I only stopped once I completed the set. I'd happily part with the action figures, but I sincerely doubt I'll ever get rid of the safari cards (except the doubles).
Hmm... maybe time to start another massive sales thread?  ;)
What kind of action figures do you have?

I'd be happy to obtain the famous Battat diplodocus - old or new.
Me too. As long as the newer version is done right and can stand on it's own (I hope).

That is a killer Carnotaurus.

Ha, not sure this is the appropriate venue for spare safari cards or action figures (although I also don't think I'm likely to join an action figure forum). I mostly collected Star Wars and superheroes. Lots of DC, Marvel, occasionally Spawn or Witchblade. Handful of Star Trek, the Tick, TMNT, Simpsons, Aliens. I'm probably forgetting a few things. Loooots of Star Wars, almost everything released from 1995-2002 (although my friend's kid broke my PotF Millenium Falcon).

I used to collect Halo action figures and Hot Toys.  Hot Toys got too expensive.  Hence, I only collect now are X-Plus Godzilla and some dinosaur figures from companies such as Papo and Rebor now.  X-Plus can also be expensive but they don't release no where near the volume of Godzilla products like Hot Toys was doing with the super hero genre.   Sorry, getting off topic....

I also agree, that Carnotaurus looks great!!!

Paleogene Pals

As far as I  know, no 1:20 Basilosaurus exists. I wish someone (Sideshow? Paleocraft? Shane?) would do one. I may have to do it myself.

This isn't a wish list thread. It's for telling others what (existing) figure is at the top of your list to get.

I find my Batrachostomus long time ago in a museum shop  ^-^, but I think that WWD Liopleurodon is other most wanted dinosaur model too  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

No particularly rare extinct figures on my wishlist, but the Safari Lubber grasshopper and AAA mantis shrimp are the two rarities I'm after.

Recently I found my WWD Liopleurodon on an UK Ebay seller. It was a little expensive but I can't resist....  >:D

I sent emails to buy the Batrachotomus but I received no answers from these local private sellers.
Last week I found a regular german  Ebayer selling a Batrachotomus. I won the auction.
Probably next week my Holy Grail will be in my hands....  O:-)

Varanops

Sorry for the late entry.  I would really like to acquire William Otto's La Brea bobcat (bronze), as well as his short-lived Brontosaurus /Tyrannosaurus pair.  I missed out on those three when I was a kid, because I chose to attend a Harlem Globetrotter's basketball game instead of a field trip to the Los Angeles County Museum when I had the chance.  (As a consolation prize, I did get to see Meadowlark Lemon sink a half-court over-the-shoulder hook-shot while facing the opposite goal at the half-time whistle. . . .  The entire audience stood up and roared!  He had the class and dignity not even to turn around.  He KNEW he had made the shot, even without seeing it!)  I think I made the right decision, but . . . I really miss those Wm. Otto prehistorics!
