Last year I think it was Schleich kentrosaurus....this year I expect greatness from Papo baryonix. What is your guess?

Silvanusaurus

I'd really love it if Papo's Baryonyx was great, I've been looking for a good Baryonyx and none of those out there at the minute really excite me. I'm just hoping it's a unique take and doesn't just look like the Spinosaurus without a spine.

It might depend on whether the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum can get Banjo the Australovenator to market this year...

The "biggest surprise dino star" will obviously be one we don't expect.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

This is really a question you should ask in hindsight. We hardly know what's coming, so at this point, it's all a suprise...

Exactly! Nobody is expecting Banjo to emerge in 2016 ;)

By the way do we have any indication of any company releasing info about 2016 figures?
Run!

Viking Spawn

My early guess will be the Rebor Ravage.  But I'm also bias toward my second favorite Dino too, being the Allosaurus.   ;)

KeU

Waaaaay too early for this.
Let's confirm the dinosaurs that will be released and see what they look like 1st.

PaleoMatt

This year it seems were getting info late :/

jep that is true indeed

No, we're not. Late-October or November have always been the usual months for information releases. Or at least it has been since 2000 or so. Before that, you had to wait until they showed up in stores--or had a connection with a toy store so you could see the paper catalogs.

That's a customized Papo Spinosaurus.

That's a known custom, not an official figure.

Looks like someone is spreading fake infos.

That's the second part of the internet! First, find information. Second, create informatiom where none exists! Have you seen the poor Carnegie Collection Wikipedia page? People are still updating and adding to it. It's almost sad.

And yeah, this thread is way too early--there are no 'biggest surprises' yet, because only one company has released anything, and there was nothing surprising or particularly notable there.

Megalosaurus

Not a dino, but so far to me is this Scheich:

Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!
