About a foot long give or take an inch. Same goes for the Dromaeosaurus I have. Of course this is also a bit dependent on the pose it is in too when it comes to exact length measurements.

Would love to see a comparison between the two latest sea monsters by Collecta, Kronosaurus and Dunkleosteus.

There's one in my review of the Dunkleosteus. I just posted it to the blog!

Thanks for the picture, they look fantastic together. Now we need a Shonisaurus and a Tylosaurus in the same size. Both with articulated jaw, of course. Hopefully for 2019...

I have this request: A comparison pic of Collecta's 2018 Iguanodon together with PNSO's Shantungosaurus and Mandschurosaurus. Thanks.

Beautiful Collectas! We need an updated Tylosaurus with movable jaw now. Collecta leading position in the prehistoric mammals field might be menaced by Eofauna, but they're still the absolute best when it comes to sea monsters.

Ahahaha, you get a Selachimorpha, and you get a Selachimorpha, EVERYBODY GETS A SELACHIMORPHA!

Shonisaurus

The dunkleosteus, dimetrodon, kronosaurus and mosasaurus give themselves a banquetazo with the prehistoric sharks. Magnificent set.  ^-^

Sounds both funny and appropriate!

MoarCrossovers

How would the CollectA Neovenator and Mantellisaurus look next to the Papo Polacanthus?

Jetdin

hi all!
does anyone have the playskool definitely dinosaurs ultrasaurus?
anyone care to post some pics with say, the papo or old carnegie brachiosaurus?

Shonisaurus

I would like to see the Colusa mapusaurus next to the carcharodontosaurus and acrocanthosaurus of its same brand. They would look great.

Halichoeres

I don't have the CollectA Acrocanthosaurus, but as far as I can tell it's almost identical to the Carcharodontosaurus. Here's the latter with the new Mapusaurus:

In the last couple of years CollectA has gotten better at feet and hips.

@JetDin: Mine is in storage, but here is a photo I took a while back next to some other sauropods:

@MoarCrossovers: I don't have those handy right now, but the answer is "superior."

Shonisaurus

Thanks for the nice Halichoeres photos. You see both fantastic and obviously Collecta is improving every year that passes in genius in relation to the development of their figures.

is the mapusaurus really that slender based on fossil remains?

Also in the head sculpt department, looking at these two.

Probably. Theropod sacra tend to be pretty narrow. The Carcharodontosaurus is extra-wide, which meant that the sculptor only had to worry about the center of balance between the nose and the tail. I find the result pretty ugly. The old Mapusaurus suffered from this problem, too, but not nearly to the same extreme.

after looking at some google pics, i think collecta's mapusaurus has a body that is a tad small in terms of overall proportions. giving it more of a raptor feel rather than that apex predator vibe. nontheless, it is still a brilliant sculpt overall

Archosauria

Not necessarily a comparison between two figures, but rather, a size comparison.

Does anyone own CollectA's giant (1:10 scale, I think) Tyrannosaurus Rex? I'd like to see it compared to, I dunno, a ruler, your hand, an apple. Just anything so I can get an idea of how large it is.

Thanks!
