Does anyone have any tips for fixing a Papo figure's legs? Someone of mine have bent inwards severely due to, er... "improper storage".

Hopefully you got this taken care of, but for those with a similar problem...

This will work on virtually any solid PVC figures.

Heat water, either boiled on the stove, or microwaved for a couple minutes and immerse the affected section of the figure in the water for 5/8 minutes. You don't need to dunk the whole figure, and IMO it's easier to fix bent legs if the rest of the figure is firmer than the legs. The figure will go soft a bit, allowing you to bend the legs back to their proper place. Personally, I prefer to make a sort of splint or use a block that holds the affected area in the shape I want it, and then put the still warm figure in the fridge for 30 minutes, preferably standing up as it will in display.

avatar_Over9K @Over9K Congrats on your new acquisitions. I gotta say the Acrocanthosaurus and Pentaceratops almost look made for one another, especially in those poses (and if they were perhaps facing one another).

Would you take on a Pentaceratops from the front? I wouldn't!  :))

avatar_Over9K @Over9K Okay you got me there. Haha, I certainly wouldn't. I think what was doing it for me though was the fact that the Pentaceratops seems to be looking down, while the Acrocanthosaurus seems to be looking up. I suppose the Acrocanthosaurus could be posed just as well with anything else looking down, such as the Therizinosaurus, or perhaps the Apatosaurus, etc. I suppose the Gorgosaurus is in a similar pose as the Acrocanthosaurus, but looking up slightly less, so similar situation I guess.

The splint or block is an interesting idea - worth a go next time that I need to use it.

Whoops, that's an odd inversion of texts -apologies. Good idea though, as a modification of the hot water concept.

My review about it  ^-^

While watching the video, I couldn't help but notice how well balanced your Compsognathus is... Did you modify it?

Shonisaurus

I congratulate you on your video Jetoar is ideal that there are videos for which we are Spanish speakers.

avatar_Jetoar @Jetoar I loved your review and your very complete introduction to it. Thank you! Just waiting the days before my spino arrives (due to the catastrophic management of my post office I wasn't notified the parcel had arrived and it was returned to the seller).

I thought about purchasing this amazing figure, but didn't in the end.

The Papo Dimorphodon is more or less extinct. As is the case with all Papos, it has tremendous, exquisite and intricate detail. Strangely enough, it also sports a really extended fifth digit (which I have not seen on any pterosaur toy) - it looks a bit like Figure 1. Peteinosaurus and Dimorphodon BMNH4212 pedes. Four tarsals are present on both from the following link:

I got mine from DeJankins. It is no longer available on Amazon or any retail websites. Happy toy hunting!

...I look forward to a Papo Rhamphorhynchus!

avatar_Andreioli @Andreioli  like all your videos, in fact I am "hooked" and subscribed to your tube videos and I sincerely like above all a lot the improved appearance that you have endowed Papo's quetzalcoatlus, being a beautiful figure with that position that has put the brand Papo seems Gollum in relation to the crawling posture, he would be a scientific figure if Papo had done it as you show it at the end of your video.

It is true, I thought that Killershrewfan who makes those videos was a pseudonym of yours, because what Andreioli said, I thank you for downloading those videos and on the other hand I pass my congratulations to Killershrewfan whose videos are superinteresting and cool.

That Quetz looks way better re-postured.

I would have gotten the Quetz in that pose. Looks majestic, the real one has some charm but was not for me personally.

Faelrin

Yeah that Quetzalcoatlus is definitely a massive improvement, and I would have much preferred that from the start. Honestly I think CollectA is still the only company to produce any azhdarchid in a standing pose?

So...what's new in the Papo world? Is there a new updated checklist of every animal made so far? I'm sure that by this point I only have like 1/3 of them or less.
