Libraraptor found these in ALDI not long ago, but as far as I know they haven't been spotted since. If a US online retailer stocked these, how many people would buy them? (I'm asking on behalf of dejankins and I have no stake in this other than that I'd like to be able to buy them.)

Prehistoric life set: Amphicyonid, Sarcosuchus, Indricotherium, phorusrhacid, mammoth, saber-tooth tiger, Dolichorhynchops, Plesiosaurus, Pterodactylus, Odontochelys, and a hominin and glyptodont, not sure which.

Dinosaurs set: Stegosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Argentinosaurus, Compsognathus, Parasaurolophus, Gallimimus, Giganotosaurus, Spinosaurus, Pteranodon.

I'd appreciate any feedback! (And so would Dean!)

The comply looks nice but I couldn't care about the otheres especially the dilo...     ...yuck.

terrorchicken

the non-dino tube BLOWS MY FLIPPIN' MIND! I must have it! :o

and  think I have an Aldi nearby, but never go there b/c the place weirds me out, lol.

Dilopho

My Aldi a few miles away NEVER has any toys!
The first tube looks AMAZING, I would probably buy that!
The second one....uh....yuck. Actually, I would still get it. It has all the dinosaurs that the Jurassic World minis forgot, and they're JP style! Woohoo!
But the first one would be my first priority.

Megalosaurus

I would buy the Prehistoric life set
Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

Takama

I would buy both for the heck of it. Might review them too

Halichoeres

On the odd occasions when ALDI carries toys in the US, it's usually a one-time shipment and you never see them again. And anyway, the ALDI where they were spotted was in Germany and their distribution is totally different. Glad to see so much interest in these guys! I've got a hankering for that Odontochelys in particular.

No interest in the dinosaur set but the general prehistoric one has a few must haves in it.

terrorchicken

they seem to be a company based in Hong Kong, they have other toobs, mostly Safari lmtd knockoffs...

The prehistoric life Pterodactylus looks very similar to the dino riders version in my opinion, but the rest of the tube is okay, I especially like the Dolichorhynchops and glyptodont. The dinosaurs tube would be a pass for me, but i'm liking the look of the Triceratops for some reason.

Thanks,

"Just think about it... Ceratopsids were the Late Cretaceous Laramidian equivalent of todays birds of paradise. And then there's Sinoceratops..."
- Someone, somewhere, probably.

Chad

I would buy the dino set to get the prehistoric life set. I would definitely by the prehistoric life set.

Roselaar

I would attempt to buy both sets, but the non dinosaur set has definite priority. I really hope this will soon become more widely available. I didn't find it in Dutch ALDI stores. And I hoestly don't expect to. :-/

:o  That prehistoric man was not part of the set I had bought...
That glyptodont is a Doedicurus... The belly imprint says so.
I´m still so angy about myself that I didn´t see their popping up as a chance to make them available for you others. :-[
I had thought "If they´re available at ALDI, then they´re most probably available everyday and everywhere - toys". Duh!
ALDI had sent me two dinosaur sets for free after my request for telling me the distributor of these toobs.
Gosh darn it! Hope you´re succesful in getting these!

terrorchicken

the terror bird looks like that large chinasaur one with the fingers...

SBell

I would so be in for a Prehistoric Life set. Don't need the dinos one though.

Ah, don't worry! You've performed a valuable service in merely alerting us to their existence. Now let's just hope that they don't have a minimum order of 9600 pieces...

I'm gratified that so many people are interested! The more people would be interested, the more likely I think dejankins might stock them.

Remind me of DigiCards predators.  thanks
You can never have too many dinosaurs

Halichoeres

Forgot to update everyone: the minimum order for these is 2400 pieces, which means they're only going to be distributed by major retailers. I don't think any hobby-oriented operations could afford to keep that kind of backstock. So I guess everyone keep their eyes on the big box stores.  :-\

Im kinda hoping Collecta will make a similar prehistoric mammals tube based on their larger mammal figures. The tube could include:
Mammoth
deinotherium
paraceratherium
kelenken
moropus
daedon
smilodon
arsinotherium
andrewsarchus
megacerops

be a shame not to get the amphicycon and turtle though. :(
