They posted their new figures on their facebook page. Their dinosaurs are....ech....

Nice tripod dinosaur there, Mojo. Reeeeaaaal nice.  ;)

Blade-of-the-Moon

Why do we still keep up with them?  They look like they are knocking off Safari, Papo, and CollectA for items. With the Animal Planet branding they look to just be after money. :/

Has Animal Planet ever licensed anything good?

Mojo's dinosaurs are terrible. But I kinda like their prehistoric mammals. Pretty good Brontotherium, Deinotherium, Hyaenodon and Daeodon.

The Chap Mei marine sets are mostly decent (which is to say amazing by non-specialty action figure standards), the giant anglerfish aside.

Those really are pretty nice. Maybe they outsourced that lot.

Oh yeah, I remember thinking their tuna looked like a pretty reasonable tuna.

I just stopped by to see if there were new prehistoric mammals. I can see there are not. Carry on.

"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

If you're interested I have probably around a dozen of them, some were included in the Elasmosaur set so you could call them an extinct fish figurine if you wanted :P

To get a bit further back on topic those figures are pretty bad, although I think that's a new paint app on the Tyrannosaurus.

terrorchicken

so are they replacing the Chap Mei sets with Mojo?

pylraster

Ugh. Mojo's still at it? I do like their extant animals and well, dragons, but their dinosaurs are just... lame.

I sure hope not, the Chap Mei dinosaurs are at least decent as JP styled dinosaurs.

Yep, their Dinosaurs are even released in Japan under the Animal Planet label.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Same here for Singapore. I think this goes to most Asian countries.

Silvanusaurus

Good to see they pulled out all the stops to give us something exciting  ;) If nothing else, I can't imagine anyone was anticipating anything from them anyway, were they?

Overall, MOJO has been good with mammals and non-dino reptiles. It's the dinosaurs that they just can't seem to pin down.

Takama

To be fair, i think the Spinosaurus looks Decent if it were not for the fact that its Outdated.

No one actually confirmed they were making one--it was a rumor (or hope) that spun out of control.
