Theres was a Old hunting Game That was similar to Deer Hunter But With Dinosaurs Rather Than Deer And Its Called Carnivores and it was Released in Late 1998 by The Ukrainian Game Company Action Forms And WizardWorks Software.it spawned two sequels off of it.then 8 years later with tatem that has ressurected the series it spawned a version of Carnivores 2 that was made for the IOS(IPads and IPhones) and for the PSP Minis Called Carnivores:Dinosaur Hunter and a rerelease of Carnivores Ice Age Made for IOS(IPads and IPhones)and the PSP Minis

Heres The Cover Art For the game sadly the iguanodon and pteranodon in the box art didnt make into the actual game But it did made their appearance in Carnivores 2 and Carnivores Dinosaur Hunter As An Update in 2014

Now They are Three Types Of weapons that you can use to Hunt Your dinosaurs.You Have
An X-bow

A Shotgun

And A Scoped Rifle

Now You Have 4 Types Of Equipment That you can bring in your hunt.You Have
Binoculars Which Lets You See The Name of any Dinosaur Plus Its Weight

The Radar Lets You Open Up Your Map Where You Can Find And Hunt How Many Of Any Dinosaurs that are roaming Around in Any Location


The Cover Scent Will Let The player Mask The Scent from all dinosaurs reducing the likelihood of you being spotted

The Camouflage Suit Will Decrease the Ability Of Dinosaurs to detect you through sight

The Wind Indicator And The Compass lets you shows the wind direction with an arrow , and the length of the arrow denotes the force of the wind while the compass shows the direction that you are facing on top of the device

And The Calls of 7 Dinosaurs where you can call them to attract them to the player so it will be better too shoot at them

This Game Has Like 10 Dinosaurs (Which 2 of them are not Dinosaurs).One Has 7 Dinosaurs that you can hunt and the Other has 3 Dinosaurs that you cannot hunt So Im gonna give you the Target Zones For 7 of The Huntable Dinosaurs In The Game

In this Game Theyre are 4 Dinosaurs that can kill you in this game(which one of them is not a carnivore at all)And you have to shoot them quick before they come after you

and 4.Getting Mouth Trapped In the Players Legs Air Whipped And Beaten to Death By A Tyrannosaurus Rex

so while you start the game you started off as a Newbie(Novice in Game) Where You Start Off with 4 dinosaurs to hunt. 3 locations you can hunt in and 2 weapons you cant hunt with

while you gain your 100 or a little higher points from killing 4 of the starting dinosaurs in 3 Locations you starting to be a Advanced Hunter with 2 dinosaurs you unlocked 2 hunting locations you unlocked and the last weapon in the game you unlocked

after you gain your points up to 400 or a little higher you starting to be an Expert Hunter where it unlocks the last location in the game The Great Lakes and the Last Dinosaur to
hunt in the Game.The Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Now about to show you how to hunt dinosaurs in 2 ways
They Are Tranquilizing Where You Shoot And put The Dinosaur to Sleep Rather Than Killing It Meaning that it will give you more points than giving you points by killing them


And Killing Dinosaur Will let You Show The Results Of What Dinosaur You Killed And What was there Weight, Length, the Range of kill, The weapon you Used To kill it The Time,The Date and there score And Theres Also a Pick Up Ship coming straight to the killed Dinosaur Where they could pick it up And Take It to the Trophy room Where Dinosaurs That youved Killed In this Game Are There



Theres Happens to be this Mode Where you have No Weapons and Can familiarize with the dinosaurs Called Observer Mode And Still the Only Dinosaur that can kill you in this mode is the Triceratops

I never played this game on PC however i have it on PSP. The Carnivores are a PITA to hunt with the soul exception of the T.Rex which is best killed with a sniper rifle

I used to love this game while growing up. I actually took elements of the first one and a couple of the species and modded it into my Carnivores 2 installation. So I replaced like Dimetrodon, for example, with Pachycephalosaurus or Triceratops. One of those actually. It was quite fun and really easy to modify though. Wow. This does take me back.

I found my discs again when I cleaned out my desk a few days ago. I remember my favorite was the Ice age one. Near the end of me playing it I switched a few animals around and stuff, too, putting dinosaurs in the ice age.

Yeah, the mobile game. They did a specific update recently just to update the spinosaurus' size. He is bigger than the ceratosaur now.

They do updates every now and again to add new dinosaurs, areas, and to tweak the dinosaurs AI.

They recently added coelophysis that hunt in packs.

now sorry for the delay guys so i was about to show you a sequel off of this game called carnivores 2 so carnivores 2 is a sequel to carnivores 2 which was released in halloween day of 1999 after a pretty good success with the first game so in this sequel heres what im about to show you

now in this sequel the score and the rank has been replaced with the new account meaning that with alot of points you get from hunting dinosaurs in this game will let you get more guns dinos and equipment that you want in your hunt and also lets you visit more locations

the hunt screen in this sequel looks different from the one in the first game which is green colored instead of blue colored

theres also a new feature in this game called hunting times which you can hunt your dinos in any of the 5 locations into three different times which includes

Dawn which is the morning

Day

and Night where you have your night goggles on to see and look better at that time

and the trophy room in this game looks different from the one in the original game

now this sequel now has a new kind of equipment in this game called Double Ammo now the Double Ammo Lets you get a second row of Ammo Instead of one row of ammo thats from the original game which is like extra ammo


and finally the Dinosaurs in this game now they are 2 newly added dinosaurs in this game that replaced the Pachycephalosaurus And the Triceratops and theres two of them that are newly added into this sequel which is
1.Ankylosaurus

2.Ceratosaurus

3.Chasmosaurus(resembles a Triceratops rather than a Chasmosaurus)

and the Spinosaurus in its Innacurate original Tiny Small Size

now there are 3 new non huntable ambient creatures that are added into this game(but one of them is a dinosaur while the two of them is a flying reptile and a synaspid)but there are three in the game that are from the original game and none of them have been replaced so heres the new three
1.Brachiosaurus(a new Dinosaur Added into this sequel but not huntable and marks the sequel the first ever time they have a sauropod species show up in this franchise)

2.Dimetrodon(resembles an Edaphosaurus then a Dimetrodon and eats Plants rather then Meat)

3.and the Pteranodon

and heres the deaths that you can get killed from these three Dinosaurs in this game

Well the only way to kill a T-Rex its By Shooting at its Eye And BTW there a no new dinosaurs in the remake but 6 remade dinosaurs and 1 remade ambient creature and 1 remade ambient dinosaur and the only dinosaur thats added into the remake is the Pelecanimimus which resembles a shrunken down Gallimimus with different coloring then an actual Pelecanimimus because its missing its crest on top of its head and im gonna be showing off the remake soon as soon as i get screenshots off of the game
