Newt

What species would you like to see? Suggestions are appreciated.

theres a rather lack of good edmontosaurus sculptures. it would be cool to see your take on it. it would be large at 1:20 scale though. if it would be too large, then Morelladon would be a nice oddity to see sculpted.

Newt

Both good suggestions, thank you!

Hypsilophodon is definitely under-appreciated - like Camptosaurus and Camarasaurus, it's in every general dinosaur book but is always overshadowed by its bigger, flashier relatives.

Edmontosaurus was near the top of the short list I had compiled before deciding to crowdsource ideas. Definitely not too big! I had actually not heard of Morelladon and had to look it up. Very interesting, but I'd like to stick to something known from more complete remains for my first dinosaur sculpture.

DinoLord

Hadrosaurus! The first American dinosaur yet never put into figure form.

Yutyrannus

Dryosaurus perhaps? Dryosaurids are fascinating animals that are constantly overlooked.

I think a Lurdusaurus would be really nice to see :)

Thanks,

You might already know this, but there's one by Planeta DeAgostini. If you mean "never" a little hyperbolically, I completely agree. Still a good choice!

Huh, I actually wasn't aware of that one. In any case it's definitely an underrepresented genus.

It absolutely is! Most ornithopods are, lamentably.

Yes, almost every model i see of Lambeosaurus is based on L. lambei.    I thought its time that this other species get some attention.

Of course i would not mind seeing another Lurdusaurus. I love that dinosaur and its lurdyness

Newt

Thanks again for the suggestions! I'm going to leave off Dryosaurus and Hypsilophodon for now, as I want to sculpt something bigger (I should have stated that in the first post, sorry), which leaves me with the following list (including some of my own suggestions):

Edmontosaurus annectens or regalis
Hadrosaurus foulkii
Iguanodon bernissartensis
Lambeosaurus magnicristatus
Lurdusaurus arenatus
Shantungosaurus giganteus
Telmatosaurus transsylvanicus

I'll set up a poll tomorrow morning, and the winner will be sculpted! If you have any more suggestions, please get them in today!

Takama

I choose Lurdusaurus

I had Brandem make one, but after learning more about the animal, im not 100% Satisfied with it.

I'm new here and I'm not quite sure how commissions work. Can someone help me understand how it works?  ^-^

Contact the artist via personal messages, discuss what you want, agree on a price, send the money. A good artist will send pictures and ask for feedback. When you're happy with what they've produced, you give them your address and they ship it to you.

Newt

Hi FlaffyRaptors - Just so you know, I am not taking commissions at this time. However, I believe some of our other members are open to commissions, so look through the art forum, find someone you like, and get in touch!
