Thanks! Thats good to hear from another Acro fan! The final figure will be as big as the Papo running rex, and will have an articulated jaw.

To be nosey, will it be on a perrmanent or removable base?  Any particular color scheme in mind?  And how much?   Oh, and I notice it seems to have some inspiration from the Primal Carnage Acro.

It will have no base, I plan on finding a pose that works with accurate sized feet/hips. And I think I will base the coloration off of the Alpha Acrocanthosaurus in the TV series "Dinosaur King". Cost is still to be determined. And the Acro seen in Primal Carnage is one of the most accurate renditions of the animal, so its a good reference.

Gigantspinosaurus sculpt is almost finished, just texturing and baking to go, then it will be ready to be molded. Next sculpt I will start working on will be the Triceratops, which will be based off of the Yoshi specimen. The Acro has been put off for a bit due to me having to get an armature done for it first.

Ok, so I am putting off the figure line until I can find someone able to make the molds/casts, because the friend of mine that was going to do it got offered a mechanical job at the college he's going to. So sorry to everyone who was looking forward to the line coming out soon.

Agreed! The dinos are nice, but the fish is far more intriguing! Maybe it's the photo angles, but will the fish have the exagerrated front teeth that Enchodus is so notable for?

It has the large thumb claws, since its unpainted its hard to tell.

So, progress on the Acro is going good, I have individually sculpted the teeth and placed them in the head. The snout looks a little thick because it has lips.


So, I have came up with a little contest, whoever can guess the main body color and whoever guesses the secondary color, will win a free Cretaceous Collectables Acrocanthosaurus! (Once I get the casting and mold making done and I have some of the figures ready.) Which I'm hoping will be next year.
