I will be starting my own line of dinosaur figures, that will include the Sauroposeidon carcass and Dunkleosteus as the first two figures. The line will be called Cretaceous Collectables. (despite the fact that not all the figures will be of creatures from the cretaceous, I just came up with it because it sounds good. ::) ) I will be trying to make all the all the dinosaurs in the same scale, the non dinosaurs will be not in scale with each other. The figures I have planned so far are: Dunkleosteus, subadult Sauroposeidon carcass, Acrocanthosaurus (goes with the Sauroposeidon carcass), Gigantspinosaurus, Ceratonykus, and Tylosaurus. If you have any questions about my upcoming figure line, or want to recommend species, you can contact me through my email: [email protected].

Very curious to see what these will look like. :)

Probably pointing out the obvious but Shane Foulkes uses the name Cretaceous Creations, which is very similar to the name you have chosen and could lead to quite a bit of confusion. Given you are both intending to offer similar items etc...just a thought
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

I hope I don't disappoint anyone, but I have changed the plans, I will only be making creatures from the mesozoic era. Which means Dunkle is out, And five remain. Now, I need five more mesozoic species to add to the line, and I am letting you guys choose what you want to see. ^-^ I will pick one species from each of the first five people to responds list of five suggestions which will result in the first ten figures. So go ahead and suggest!

Takama

HMMMMMM

Tyrannosaurus
Triceratops
Brontosaurus
Austroraptor
Brachiosaurus

Shadowknight1

Well, let's stray from the standards a little?

Acrocanthosaurus
Yi Qi
Cryolophosaurus
Saurophaganax
Pyroraptor
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Halichoeres

Well, if you're picking one from each of the first five commenters, my optimal strategy, game theory-wise, is clear:

Aspidorhynchus
Cabonnichthys
Enchodus
Ptychotrygon
Rhinconichthys

Agreed, especially glad you chose Saichania from my list!

Sauroposeidon and Ceratonykus, one of the largest and one of the smallest dinosaurs of all, in the same scale?? This I gotta see :)

(Ceratonykus' skull is 6cm long, at 1:30 scale that'd mean your figures head will be 2 mm...!).

The Sauroposeidon carcass is supposed to be a 40ft subadult, and the figures will be in 1:35 scale.

Like I said, it will be impressive to see a figure so tiny at 1:35. A 1:35 Ceratonykus would be about half an inch long, right? Will it be sculpted onto a base like the old Carnegie Protoceratops?

I'm pumped to see the Acro and Sauroposeidon together! Any idea on when that diorama will be completed?

It will not be a diorama, the two figures will be sold separately, but they will be made to go together. And the Sauroposeidon carcass sculpt is done, however the Acro will have an articulated jaw, so i'll have to figure out the best way to do that so that it looks natural like Papo's. But since I have a little Sculpey left from the Sauroposeidon carcass, I will use it to sculpt Ceratonykus next.

I got the Ceratonykus sculpt finished! It has a base, and I sculpted it in two parts, the dinosaur, and the base. The sculpt is about 1.1/2in long.
