Good Idea, Although Battat's I'm sure weren't released in 2016.

The Battat Terra Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus and Euoplocephalus started being found in December 2015 but only in a very small number of Target stores, so they weren't available to most people in 2015.  Nearly everyone found them in 2016.  For this reason, and due to the fact that all of Safari's 2016 figures were available to everyone in December 2015, I would include these three Battat figures among the 2016 figures.

We didn´t count the Battat figures for the 2015 poll, since most people didn´t have access to them before 2016. So, they should get their chance to shine this time.

Should we remove the Kaiyodo that are repaints of previous years sculpts? I don't recall a final ruling on colour variants.

OK, sounds like a consensus on the Battats. Especially if they weren't included in the 2015 poll, that's a convincing reason to include them here.

The only repainted Kaiyodo last year was the Pteranodon. I think it's worth including. The Battats are repaints too, after all--the only difference is the interval between them.

Looking in the thread for the Rebor Deinonychus, it looks like they might not have been available in 2016.  One other thing, in the first post some figures that come in a set are listed separately (e.g. the Colorata figures) while others are listed together (e.g. some of the Favorite figures)...

Right you are. That's an artifact of the way I thought of them as potential purchases. I guess I'd better be consistent. Does anyone have a particular preference between splitting and lumping? I also lumped together all 3 Favorite mini rexes, but that's mostly because I had a hard time imagining anyone voting for any of them.

Unrelated, I'm not sure whether to include the Kanna Dinosaur Centre figures, since they're resin. I didn't include anything from Sideshow, or Jetoar's models, for example. They're not really toys, strictly speaking. I guess, for that matter, neither are Rebor's, per Rebor, but they're at least plastic.

I'm kinda on the fence about splitting the Favorite rexes. I would imagine someone would vote for them all or not. I'd vote to include Sideshow and Jetoar's creations. They were certainly some of my favorite of the year, and they cost good money. Have we not included non-plastics in the past?

Apparently last year we did include Sideshow. Was the Sideshow Ceratosaurus a 2016 release? It looks like the Gastonia is still only a preorder item.

Nobody objected, so I included the Paleo-Creatures 2016 releases. I suspect they'll get a lot more votes than the JW figures, for instance.
