For the first time I'm actually a little excited for Jurassic World.

You're right about the CGI looking unfinished. Post-production on effects-heavy movies like this one often goes right up to the last minute, so what's in a trailer isn't necessarily what's in the final film. Plus, they've got months to tighten it up before it comes out so I wouldn't worry.

When you pause on the Gallimimus scene, I noticed it looked like they were feathered, especially when they got closer to the camera! ^-^

Yep. They appear to have one big patch of dark feathers right by the base of their neck.

I have watched the leak and... well, I will hold off on my judgement until the official trailer is out on Thursday.

Megalosaurus

STOP spoilering! I negated myself to see the leak, I don't want to know anything until see the official trailer. I better quit off reading this thread from now on.
Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

I didn't manage to catch it before Universal purged the entire internet, but going from the descriptions it would seem that the leak didn't have any information that wasn't already revealed

Yep. They appear to have one big patch of dark feathers right by the base of their neck.

Looking at the concept art from the original film, I would have to disagree on that.

I don't know. I'm still seeing furry, close-cropped feathers (and not just that dark patch) down their necks, backs, tails and down half their legs...

I understand what you mean, but I think it's an "optical illusion". In the first image, the galli on the far left clearly has scaly skin. It looks a little like fuzz because of the blurring as it runs by the camera. Believe me, I wish they were feathered. Also, Trevorrow did say that there would be no feathers.

Meso-Cenozoic

Oh, I thought he was only referring to the raptors. But you may be right on what I'm seeing. I may be wishing for feathers so hard, I've actually started matrixing! LOL!!

Well, we'll know soon enough. The first official theatrical trailer will be played here on our Thanksgiving Thursday (3 more days!). Maybe we'll get to see a bit more with more finished figures. And for those outside the US, I'm sure someone will put it up on YouTube or probably the official site will eventually have it up on there too.

I've had very little faith in this film since it was announced that there would be no feathered dinosaurs and this latest teaser only increases my pessimism. Ultimately, I fear this film is only going to reinforce tired old inaccurate notions about these wonderful animals.
