Looks like the size comparison chart there is a bit..off.

The Lost World Pteranodons were toothless, it's the JP3 mutants that had teeth. JW wants to be "accurate" so they should have toothless pteranodons...I guess. lol

Actually, it isn't definite ( http://jurassiraptor.tumblr.com/post/104208746012/in-defense-of-jurassic-worlds-mosasaur ).

Very interesting post; I had not considered the implications of possible skewed perspective before. Thanks for posting that link!

My theory is that the animation being WIP only part of the mosasaur was finished, and so it was enlarged

So, that Ankylosaur looks a little familiar:

Irony in that Jurassic Park World is copying Papo, though it woudn't be the first time, but then it could just be a common pose. I remember hearing about an ankylosaurus toy for JW posed like a 'scorpion' and it was not the Papo one but I'm not sure of the source or reliability of it.

I think the similarity might be coincidental. There are only so many 'action' poses you can put an ankylosaur in ;)

Exactly.  There just isn't a lot of action to em'..lol

That said the above pics as are all of the ones on Jurassic World's site, have a sort of simplified look to them. Basically I wouldn't take that pic as the final film version either.

Even if Anykolsaurus is okay, they've copied Papo's Parasaurolophus for their Edmontonsaurus silhouette in the size chart.

Fair enough, but I guess I was taken aback by how much closer it is to the Papo Ankylosaur than the JP3 one.

The toy or the animal in the film?

The animal in the film I hope looks more like the JP3 version as far as detail and such goes..the images on the site are just rough ideas like would be in promo materials or something..stylized I guess?

The toy does look to have a similar pose in those pics..but it looks wider, different armor, ect..I don't think it's a direct copy either.

Heh, I'm gonna go apply for a job with Lew Dodgson over at Biosyn. I'll just steal all of your hard work, Ingen employees. >:D
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Hey, Nedry was a crook, he just disappeared with Biosyn's money. Dodgson's got a plan - he's gonna put me to work after he gets back from a trip with Howard King and George Baselton.

Sounds like a personnel issue. King? Never heard of him.  Baselton? That blowhard hack? hah! His guess work would never prepare you for REAL dinosaurs!

Arul, you can go to the Masrani.com JW site and get your own made as well, totally free. :)
