The new trailer is out now on youtube, the irex is so cool ! the i-rex can communicate with other dinosaur species ? (Highly intelligent animal). On the trailer it looks like the irex command the pterosaur to leave the cage

A clip for every occasion.

I'll still give this film a chance but, holy moly, it is looking trite based on these trailers.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I'm actually kinda excited for it..there was cool scenes in there. I don't think the I-Rex is communicating with other dinosaurs, they all seem terrified of it as the director mentioned before.

I think that clip may be for the trained Raptors meeting the wild Raptors ?

I'm glad I was right about the log viewing area..just like in zoos. You don't force the animals to the fence, you take people inside their habitat..subtly.

I still can't muster up any genuine enthusiasm, try as I might. The dinosaurs just look so outdated and dull. And that pterosaur carrying off a woman is preposterous.

Don't think that I hold against anyone who is excited though. If anything, I'm envious of you.

Oh, and I'm going to call right now: the I-Rex will finally be killed when the main characters lead it next to the Godzillasaur's tank, upon which it will be pulled into the water by the latter and devoured.

Yeah that log attraction is a great concept; reminds me a bit of the viewing domes from JPOG.

I just noticed something - is that a Battat Edmontonia on the desk at 1:05?

Albertosaurus

Wow....that looked like crap!! TV movie quality, horrible CGI. What the hell is going on with all that shooting and explosions??? Seriously? This is Jurassic Park! That looked more like Predator! I thought that Arnold was going to show up at some point with some camouflage paint all over him. There is even the classic scene with the character not looking at the explosion behind him...but with the Irex this time...ridiculous.
Sorry but this is not Jurassic Park anymore...this is just a random monster TV movie with the tough guy, the pretty girl, two stupid kids and bazookas....

DinoLord

The JW site has been updated with all the dinosaurs available. I'm a bit disappoint that they didn't go with the existing designs for the Parasaurolophus and Pachycephalosaurus though.

That Pachy looks amazing!
The coloring for this new dinos is looking really great....but then you see the trailer and all of the dinos are looking GRAY. Gray and outdated, fat, rubber like....

If anything, Julius Csotonyi's fantastic art only drives home the point even further that the JP designs really have no place in 2015. His dinosaurs look like real animals, not cheesy movie monsters.

But has he been hired to design the new dinosaurs? Or are they just using his art for the web?

It all has the transformer 4 feeling for me.
Great first films but 4 really changed the theme
But still i love it and want to see it but looking at it overal it will NEVER beat JP 1

Yes, it is. I had to get mine out to check.
Strange that the para does not look like the one from the Entertainment Weekly picture. I also don't see why they went with new pictures for animals that already exist in the JP universe- not that I don't like Cstonyi's work, I do very much.

I watched the first one again last night, not while on the computer, not while working, actually watched it. It was so good still...and over way too fast.   I do get a JP/TLW vibe from this trailer though still...there is going to be a lot of what fans have wanted in it I think.

As for the I-Rex I'm almost sure it won't make it..unless it's captured for a military weapon as some have suggested.

For taking it down..we have the Mosasaur, the original T-Rex , Raptors trained/wild ones , and a big volcano too.  That's a lot of endings there.

Ankylosaurus pinball looks fun

I'm curious how that plays out..the Ankys are either knocking it along after the I-Rex attack or before?

Shadowknight1

Likely I-Rex spooked 'em.  And are we sure there are wild raptors?
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

reinier zwanink

We have seen many saurs already in the trailers
But not 1 glimp of Trex
Isnt that a bit strange (or important)

Maybe the kids are caught in the middle of an I-Rex/Anky battle.

It's been alluded to a few times so I'm assuming there is.  The offspring of the original three I suppose...it's been said Owen's Raptors meet up with them in the restricted area.
