The legs of this tyrannosaurus are looking great on you. Can't wait to see that famous theropod finished. You do a very good job.

Thanks.

This happens, when you start with something. Fail and fail and progress. Stop. Start again. fail again. Repeat.
Something like Talent ( Whatever this is exactly) sounds nice, but everyone needs to start at some point to master something.

Again, great Stuff! Reminds me instantly of the new chunky Sue. What are you using for the Eyes? I saw that a couple of times, that Modeleyes were used in Sculpts this small/big. I always just find eyes for puppets, that are way too big. Eyes are to important.

Indeed. My work has developed over several years to be where it is now. There are a few of my older pieces in this thread for comparison.

I am using taxidermy bird eyes. The tyrannosaurus is 24 inches long and I am using the smallest sized eyes I could find, which are just the right size.

That is a beautiful T-rex.  The thickness and the subtle coloration really give the feeling of a massive animal.

Shonisaurus

Magnificent tyrannosaurus rex, by the way what material is it made of?

Kapitaenosavrvs

You must be kidding :D! This is absolute stunning work and design. It looks calm and massive.

Pachyrhinosaurus

Thanks! I'm trying to keep up with more bulky dinosaur restorations. It's based on the holotype at the Carnegie-- I did my best to match the teeth to those on the skull on display.

avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus I used a mix of Super Sculpey with the extra firm variety. The internal armature is made of wood and metal rod.

My latest dinosaur is the Iguanodon. I wanted to make an ornithopod, and chose Iguanodon because of its classic status and distinct appearance.

Seems I somehow missed that thread too long....
That T. rex is definetly my cup of tea... fleshed out and massive, while your sculpting style gives it a totally authentic appearance fitting for a real animal rather than a monster.

That Iguanodon is a stunner aswell. I especially like the massive weight bearing forelimbs and the detailing which makes your figures look somewhat smooth from the distance and only reveals its intricacy on close inspection. Right what you would expect in animals this size.

Nothing less than amazing work in my eyes. Merry Christmas!

Pachyrhinosaurus

Thank you. I tried to find a balance between having too much texture and keeping it relatively simple, since most dinosaur scales were so small. I definitely took some influence from the later Carnegie figures.

Merry Christmas to you, too avatar_Lanthanotus @Lanthanotus!

Nice sculpture impresses the forelimbs of the iguanodon look huge and threatening. It is a very interesting sculpture.

God, I wish the PNSO one looked like yours.

Excellent work. It actually looks like a big, meaty, multi-ton animal. And you actually bothered to give it the iconic almost gorilla proportioned forelimbs, something certain other companies haven't figured out.

Thanks to those above. I must have missed the last few comments.

After all these dinosaurs, I decided my next piece would be a mammal-- the Columbian Mammoth.

Such brilliant sculpts. They have a retro feel to them, in the good meaning of the term. That Iguanodon in particular... just WOW.

Thank you. I take a lot of inspiration from classic paleoart.

Shoot, that is skill. Everything, proportion, detail, posture, etc. is so good.

Mamasaurus

Your sculpture is simply fantastic! I absolutely love the muscular T.rex, and I love the subtlety of the details.
