Roselaar Kaiyodo's figures are very good. Above all, I like hallucination, which is much more realistic from my point of view than its Favorite counterpart.  :)

On the contrary, the 2016 Favorite Hallucigenia (assuming that's what you mean by hallucination) depicts the most current representation of the animal; the Kaiyodo one actually shows the out-of-date interpretation, where the 'head' is now considered a stain blob.

Sorry bmathison1972 had written badly the word of the Cambrian creature is hallucigenia. Thank you for the clarification. Now I am happier to have my Favorite hallucigenia instead of the Kaiyodo Hallucinogen without it being a very nice paleoartistic work for me.

I have to clarify that unfortunately I have no idea of biology and paleontology I am a simple collector.  :-[ I thought Kaiyodo hallucinogenic was more precise but I noticed a work of art by the great paleoartist Andrey Atuchin and it is identical to Favorite's hallucigenia.

Roselaar

I'm perfectly happy with the Kaiyodo Hallucigenia, since I don't own the Favorite figure (yet).

I sincerely like the two hallucigenia of both Favorite and Kaiyodo. Both companies are exceptional.  :)

Unfortunately, Kaiyodo hallucigenia in my case I still do not have it in my collection, although it is in Favorite. In my case I am in a situation contrary to yours. You have Kaiyodo's in my case I do not have it yet. In exchange I have the one of Favorite and in my case I have it.

If one day you decide to buy the hallucigenia of Favorite you will not regret having it in your collection.  :)

At the time it was released, the Kaiyodo one was the accepted view of its morphology. I have both in my collection. It is good to have both so one can appreciate how figures evolve as our understanding of them do.

And now for something completely different:

The elusive (and not very succesful) TLW Carnotaurus. A bitch to find in loose and complete condition, but I managed. Still, one of the very few JP figures I don't have the package of. Not likely to be remeided any time soon...

Didn't even know that one existed!

Well, like I said, it's not a very good toy. It's only sought after because it's rare, not because it's particularly cool or a decent Carnotaur figure. Mattel definitely did a better job with their new Carnotaurus.

That one and "Demon" were both pretty bad, definitely Mattel came to the rescue with theirs.

Still the best T-Rex action figure ever

Never owned the thrasher, but I always preferred it to the classic red one from the first line, which I had instead. It's fatter, better proportioned, and the head sculpt is much more screen accurate, impressive for a 1997 toy. The red T-Rex is overrated, in my opinion.

I spy a mini version of Invicta Brachiosaurus!

You do indeed. However, I spy a miniature version of the Larami Parasaurolophus there I never noticed before. Brachiosaurus might belong to the same line, thus as a knock-off of the Larami Brachiosaurus, which is itself a bootleg of the Invicta Brachiosaurus. My, how the world goes round...

Roselaar

Two very obviously WWB inspired large prehistoric mammal figurines. Got them for a total steal.

Libraraptor

Ah, yes,  Great figures! Do you have the small versions as well?

PlesiosaurusNessy

Yoo, two very cool figures, like them very much, the Entelodont and Thylacine! Congrats!

The mini figures in the post of 16 march are interesting, nice little copy of Invicta Brachiosaurus and little Apatosaurus china copy!
Left, next to the Dimetrodon, the little black Tyrannosaurus is a copy of the midi Bullyland Tyrannosaurus!
Paleontology: Science for the love to dinosaurs!

Shonisaurus

The big figures both the entelodon and the big hyaenodon are if I am not mistaken gaps. In exchange the small figures are made of a more solid rubber material.

Obviously they are based on WWB dinosaurs, by the way, a magnificent BBC series that I have a good memory of.  :)

It actually is the Bully Rex. ;)

No, but I can do without those since I have their bigger brothers and they take up enough space as it is. :)

Some delightfully retro movie memorabilia from one of my all-time favorite films (and yours, I bet!);

I personally like the look of the figure, I don't have one yet(because they're usually so expensive) but I do want one, along with the Demon.
