Easily the weirdest creatures ever made for a JP toy line, and thus among my personal favorites, Scutosaurus and Estemmenosuchus. Very glad they were eventually released after being scrapped in 1994, even though this exclusive set isn't an easy find. I did alright though, I since added two more boxed sets.  ^-^

Shonisaurus

The exceptional company of Jurassic Park has been quite brave in its day taking out two versions (by the way very well made of dinosaurs of the Paleozoic and that are very little commercialized like the estemmenosuchus (then it was unpublished in the toy market) and the scutosaurus.

It was a brave bet of JP's toys. I congratulate you on the beautiful photo of these Roselaar figures. Estemmenosuchus is the best thing that has been done about this figure in the toy market. Especially what I like the most is his beautiful head.  :)

I hope Mattel proves as adventurous!

So far, they don't seem adverse to the notion. Herrerasaurus, Proceratosaurus, Minmi and Postosuchus are all unusual choices. Not all of them are good figures, granted. But then, Kenner made a few abominations too back in the days.

Nice figures, I really like Safari's Acro, if only I could make it on scale with their new T-rex. Also I've been debating on the Cerato because of the oversized feet, but I like everything else about it.

To me the vagaceratops, ceratosaurus and dracorex are my favorite figures of this group. I really like your acrocanthosaurus but I love the three mentioned ones. I congratulate you Roselaar for your new acquisitions. The safari dinosaurs of a lifetime have ecstatic indeed I have the entire collection ... except for the skulls of dinosaurs that although they are very nice I like dinosaurs with meat even though they are despojos like those of the companies of Collecta ( I mean the beautiful corpses of tyrannosaurus, triceratops and stegosaurus).  8)

One awesome and three less so prehistoric critters, courtesy of the Bullyland company:

I congratulate Roselaar, by the way, what happened to the Bullyland company? It is a pity that he has stopped producing dinosaurs since almost two years (although they have made four figures such as the (tyrannosaurus, liopleurodon, archeopteryx and triceratops) of lesser importance than these figures that you show for example.

There were dinosaurs and prehistoric animals quite good as for example the pteranodon that you show in your photograph.  :)

CityRaptor

Probably has to do with the fact that one barely sees Bullyland's animal figures in stores, even in Germany. Schleich is rather dominant, so Bullyland's only chance was to expand their "Comic World" range.  Thus they made a deal with the Devil Disney.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Roselaar

Too bad too, Bullyland has created some very memorable figures. Fortunately I own them all. :)

Another thing I own, a JP III Exclusive Hasbro set composed entirely of Kenner repaints:

Some more Collectasaurs. God, was I pissed off about that final Mapusaurus product...:

I am a completista of the Collecta toys and the ones I like the most are the family of the hysilophodon, dolichorhynchops (I like that miniature) and the utahceratops especially of the latter I like its ivory colors.  :)

The other two the standard mapusaurus and the kosmoceratops are honestly not my favorites.

I sincerely like your current mapusaurus more and apart from that it is bigger.

Roselaar

I dislike it because it looked cool in its stock photos but ended up overly bulky, unable to stand on its own feet and generally appearing to be misshapen. Leaving paleontological accuracy aside, perhaps. Thank God for the new deluxe model indeed...

Roselaar

Small dinosaur figurines. Same molds as the classic Panini figures, but all black and with poor finish, there's flaps of plastic everywhere.

Roselaar

Older Deluxe Collecta figures. The Nigersaurus is just awkwardly huge and heavy compared to most other Deluxe figures. It really feels like a throwback of sorts, but to what I cannot tell...

Sincerely I am an enthusiastic that Collecta makes dark figures and in this case Collecta's paraceratherium does not convince me, I think a figure in this case a little too small and too rigid, a slight blow from the shelves and those rigid plastic legs would break in pieces and the same I can say about his tail and his ears. The figure is not bad but could be improved, I hope that Collecta makes a reissue of that figure (for me one of the preferred prehistoric mammals) or another company commercializes that prehistoric creature.

As regards the nigersaurus is a somewhat "retro" (I like it) although it belongs to the first years of Collecta I have to say that in my case it has its charm and sincerely applauded in their day to make that dinosaur figure so rare in the toy market.

As for the neovenator, mine also needs the plastic base with which it was packed to avoid falls is a figure of the most beautiful as far as the theropods of Collecta but it would be necessary to add a bra to prevent falls. His colors are very realistic and I like that he does not have those colors of war in the skull characteristic of many figures of prehistoric animals of Collecta. That yes the same I say of this figure that what I have commented of the paraceratherium the figure is made of a very rigid plastic. You have to be careful not to fall off a shelf, especially their thin legs would be ruined. It is for me one of my favorite figures of theropods of Collecta.

I congratulate you Roselaar for your photo and your acquisitions.
