why can't Vitae produce all of them in PVC???
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Moodyraptor

Really like the look of that zhejiangopterus, and the marine reptiles.  Hope they're not too expensive.

Shonisaurus

If they are not resin will not be more expensive than giganotosaurus. Anyway, I would like Vitae to reveal which of its dinosaurs are PVC and which are resin. Obviously, although they are of better quality, I will not buy the resin ones, for reasons of space and safety.

On the other hand I asked if they are going to market more Vitae figures among other things in my message shop.modellpferdeversand.de and they answered that I did pass my question and the answer of shop.modellpferdeversand.de with the German original and translated into English , I hope you find it useful.

Question:

Good morning and first of all Happy New Year 2018:

It is to ask them when they will send me the giganotosaurus Vitae that I ordered for you on Sunday 31/12/2017. For me it is a fabulous figure.

On the other hand I am interested in general in all catalogs of toy companies of the year 2018 (if they have them).

Finally, I would like to know if you are going to market more figures of Vitae (dinosaurs and prehistoric animals) in your store in the near future. With my best wishes for you and for the prosperity of your store in this new year 2018, receive,

A very warm greeting

for me

Good day,
Also a good, New Year.

Today is the first day of work and as usual comes to shipping confirmation anyway.
We will also offer the upcoming Vitae figures.

52 euro is still too pricey for me for a pvc figure...maybe I could afford one of the smaller figures later on.

John

I'm going to have to keep an eye out for that Sinraptor dongi. ;D
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

That German website sells it for 76 dollars .......

MPV sells it for EUR 52.50.
It would be very good (for us Germans) if EUR 52.50 were USD 76.
Unfortunately this is not the case. EUR 52.50 are about USD 63.

Since several people have asked, according to a comment on the Facebook post, most of these will be thermoplastic rubber (the same material as the Giga). Only the Majungosaurus, Sinoceratops, Zhuchengtyrannus, and fossil replicas will be resin. That leaves about 11 figures from this very ambitious list that I'd be interested in getting.

I am definitely gonna need that Sinraptor.
What I love about Allosaurus is that it lived an extremely violent life that was rife with broken bones, cuts, scrapes, infections, sprains, and yet it just kept on truckin.

It looks great, but i generally avoid resin as its more fragile than PVC.

ceratopsian

I am mulling it over. I like the look of the piece. But I worry about the fragility in the post. I think the postal charges will be very high. I need to find out how big the model is. And I want to compare it to known fossil remains. So I am undecided as yet.

Shonisaurus

The sinoceratops is a rare figure in the market of figures. I would like that apart from the resin version they made a PVC one.

The figure is very cool.  8)

I have a feeling this company are going to break my finances if I'm not careful :o The detail on their figures appears to be extraordinary. But, I haven't ordered any yet due to costs and lack of distribution!

I've taken the leap and placed an order for the Sinoceratops.  I will let you all know if it arrives in one piece and if I like it!

No doubt we'll all enjoy it vicariously!

Looking forward to the phots ... I decided against buying it, as the price is just too steep for what you're getting ... they should have made it from PVC (like the Gig.) and sold it at half the price ...

Shonisaurus

I am of the same opinion. They should sell it in PVC figure. It would be cheaper and more demanded, sincerely Vitae would win in sales, although we must respect his artistic license and his philosophy.

That is surely one of the chief functions (and joys) of the forum! 😀

ceratopsian

Like Shonisaurus and Simon, I would have preferred PVC. Cheaper and less fragile. But the subject really appeals to me personally and that consideration won.

Syndicate Bias

id prefer if they would make them from the same.plastic as papo or rebor so at least my vitae Giganotosaurus wouldn't be leaning on one side so bad
