Papo 2019 Hopes & Dreams

Never too early, right?

Since we now know Papo's dinosaur figurine line-up for 2018, it is time to discuss what we would like to see in 2019. For the past few years many people have listed in the Papo "Hopes & Dreams" threads, among others, an Iguanodon. And Papo have delivered. They gave us the Iguanodon us collectors craved. Hopefully in 2019 we will see a Giganotosaurus, as it would be easily one of the most requested figures. My wish list is as follows:

- Giganotosaurus
- Adult Apatosaurus
- New Tyrannosaurus
- Suchomimus

Also, I would plead to Papo to not make any models with awkward poses (Baryonyx) and to make them to scale with their other figurines.

Moodyraptor

Another big sauropod, for sure.  Ideally one that's not elephant grey, but I'll take anything.

Halichoeres

I'd rather see them do a Carcharodontosaurus than a Giganotosaurus. There are plenty of good Gigas out there, but few good Carcharos.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

suspsy

Tyrannotitan could certainly use some recognition.

Nanuqsaurus

I think I said this last year as well, but a new Spinosaurus is just essential. Other than that I'd like to see more feathered raptors, like Utahraptor.

Shonisaurus

My greatest wishes for Papo to perform in relation to dinosaurs and prehistoric animals are the following:

I would like 2019 to be the year of the giganotosaurus in the style of the therizinosaurus 2018 and acrocanthosarus 2017 and its improved repainting 2018.

I would also like in the same line a gigantoraptor or a deinocheirus (either of which is necessary to accompany the therizinosaurus of this next year) I would lean towards a gigantoraptor.

Another desired figure would be the elasmotherium (it is very rare in dinosaur toys) and a very desired figure that would occupy the position of the coelodonta antiquitatis (woolly rhinoceros).

I would need Papo a well made ceraptósido I would make two different ceraptoosides,

A reediction of the triceratops still improved or repainted with other colors, and among the ceraptósidos that would occupy the position of the missing pachyrhinosaurus would point to an anchiceratops, torosaurus, chasmosaurus, centrosaurus, pentaceratops or ahrrinoceratops.

On the other hand a marine reptile would be fine for example a pliosaurid type Jurassic Park.

Or a carnotaurus based on the movie that will premiere in June 2018.

Although it is premature to evaluate the amargasaurus if it is as I fear for the photos I would like a more improved reissue.

On the other hand I would continue with the small dinosaurs and maybe I would like Papo to risk with a mononykus, scipionyx, sinonithorsaurus, stauricosaurus or bambiraptor.

With the disappearance years of the raphus cucullatus (dodo) I would like a reedition of that figure or to replace it a moa or an elephant bird of Madagascar.

With just one of those figures, the company Papo next year gave me more than happy. Honestly I am satisfied with the giganotosaurus that surpasses the tyrannosaurus and spinosaurus in beauty and it is more than super detailed as its Papo figures usually do.  :)

Where? I've been asking and only one good carcha from no models for 300 dollars resin kit. Idk what you mean but the safari one is ok but not detailed. Vitae made a giga so that helps the lack of one from papo although papo will most likely make a giga first.  I asked vitae as have others about a carcha and they said they'd consider it for 2019 or 2020 so there ya go. What carcha models do you know off that are good?

Realistic Sinclair Family, c'mon Papo...

My wish list:

- Gallimimus
- Mosasaurus
- Prehistoric trees and plants (please!!) or any good quality pieces of diorama and not cardboard volcanos
- Big sauropods  ;D

My Papo 2019 wishlist:
- BIG SAUROPODS PLEASE!!
- more Marine Reptiles

Reptilia

#10
I'm repeating myself, but while we're at it: a Giganotosaurus that's bigger than all other theropods in the line, a Diplodocus halfway between the Brachiosaurus and the Apatosaurus and a Pentaceratops with no articulated jaw. Those three would be enough for me, but then if we can dream: a partially feathered Tyrannosaurus that's not a punk weirdo like the upcoming Collecta, a pliosaur (Liopleurodon would be fine) and either a gorgonopsid or a terror bird. Everything sculpted by Mr Seo, obviously.

Lanthanotus

I would like the old Apatosaurus with another pose - it's such a rare situation that a company produces a species in two different stances and if, it's mostly mammals or birds with an obvious sexual dimorphism.

Also I'd like them to approach some less popular species like Tenontosaurus, Gallimimus or some Permian or Triassic reptiles/mammals.

Shonisaurus

A muttaburrasaurus would be great. I unfortunately have the Invicta brand. There is not a moderately acceptable figure nowadays in the toy market.

I could also do it with time Jason from soutlands replicas.

ZoPteryx

It would be awesome to get:

Sarcosuchus
a hadrosaur species
a titanosaur species
Giganotosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus
and NOTHING from whoever sculpted the Amargasaurus!

They should just hand him some weird sculpts to do (e.g Anomalocaris, Placerias, Procoptodon) to keep him busy.

What's wrong with the Invicta Muttaburrasaurus?

Jose S.M.

I would like to see some marine reptiles, not in a "retro" style. Also a new ceratopsian, maybe Pentaceratops or Kosmoceratops, an stegosaur like Miragaia or Tuojiangosaurus and an exotic theropod, something like Majungasaurus or Rugops.

A Carcharodontosaurus and a giganotosaurus and a tyrannotitan and a mapusaurus and a concavenator

Irritation

I'll make things specific on why want these creatures:
New large Carnosaur: I don't care if it's a Giganotosaurus or not, I at least want to see one and hopefully in a bipedal pose.
Stygimoloch: There aren't very many Pachycephalosaur figures and Palo should do this one, plus the creature will be in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.
Titanis: Papo should definitely make a Terror Bird figure, especially this species.
Tuojiangosaurus: Papo needs to make another Stegosaur.
Centrosaurus: I want to see this creature and it can be an appropriate substitute for the retired Pachyrhinosaurus.
Gallimimus: We need more Ornithomimid figures.
Deinonychus: Papo can make this creature instead of raptor repaints.

Yeah, I consider the Safari good. I know you don't care for it. It's too small for me, so I have the CollectA, but I don't think it's particularly good.
