Also, really good marketing move on Mattel's end releasing Protoceratops and Proceratosaurus in the same wave. Can't see anyone being confused by that.

Cool new pictures. I'm excited for these.

I agree the tail on the Proceratosaurus is a bit too short, but then so is the attack pack Gallimimus' tail. Oh well. Proceratosaurus is seen in DNA form, in the first JP movie!

The long legs on the Protoceratops, while a bit exaggerated, are not completely off. It was relatively long-legged for a ceratopsian. If anything the head is too small.

Hoping for more waves after these come out.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! @that Ceratosaurus.... probably reacting to an awful dad joke....

The Protoceratops is the only appealing one for me out of these Attack Pack dinosaurs, but those limbs look way off. And I wish I could like the Proceratosaurus but that spindly tail is really distracting. These might all be a pass for me. I like the color combo on that Velociraptor though. I still haven't gotten any Velociraptor, not sure that I will. Waiting for more info on the one that matches the original JP mural.
Isn't  it part of the Alan Grant legacy set?

JAJAJAJAJAJA
That Ceratosaurus seems either drunk or very pleased with...something >:D

It looks like my JP Dilophosaurus  ^-^

Oh, I have no idea. I've seen that set but maybe I didn't look at it close enough. If it is then I guess I won't be getting that one, not interested in the entire set.

Yeah, It comes with Grant, a compy, the mural raptor, a raptor with JP-ish colours (I like to think it's an Excavaraptor), JP dilophosaurus and JP gallimimus.

I really want this set ><

Weirdly, the actual set seems to have the Excavaraptor in a different pose than the stock images.

I see it's also one of those jumping raptors you pull back on. I don't like how big the feet are on those, though I understand why they're that way. Previously I had only seen the image of its head next to the mural. All well, another pass for me I guess.

I like this Legacy set. Hoping to add it to my collection at some point. It's a great "sampler", plus you get Alan Grant, the coolest Jurassic Park character!

I don't have any raptors yet, and I'm interested by the jumping function on the green one. Don't really care about the big boot feet, it's a toy. For starters, every single Jurassic Park raptor is still bald and scaly, so scientific accuracy is immediately out the window.

It's not about accuracy, it's personal aesthetics. I'm putting it on a shelf, not playing with it. For that reason the boot feet are just too much for me. I have plenty of naked dromaeosaurs that still display well (Carnegie and Bullyland Deinonychus, Safari Velociraptor etc.) Looks fun for kids though, my daughter might like it.

So for those in Canada, seems like the Legacy line is coming to TRU in the summer/late summer.  Currently only Amazon.ca has them.

I think they looked fine in these toy fair pics. Granted these are also those $7-8 figures, so they are what they are.

Looks like turd with corn on it. Seems decent overall but the CollectA version is better.

Here's some links to the Wave 2 Legacy Collection figures on Target (which has a few more images that may or may not have been seen yet):

The other two (Malcolm and the Spinosaurus) don't have links yet. I only managed to find these through a google search and brickseek. However Smyths has plenty of pics of the Spinosaurus, which by the way now mentions the date as July 6 - July 13th. I'm in the states, but I hope this means Target will be getting these next week if not later this month.

I don't think anyone has noticed this, but on the Stegosaurus tail, there are some plates that are "backwards".

Just look at the shape of those plates, they are reversed!

And is not only the case of my copy. I have checked other pictures of other Stegosaurus and they also have this.

tyrantqueen

I would say it's an assembly error because I don't see why the artist would sculpt some of the plates the correct way, and the others not ??? This kind of thing happens from time to time in mass produced toys. I had a Transformer with two left hands once.

Gwangi

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that. I just checked mine and the error is there, I'll have to edit my review.

The Minmi turd corn comparison guarantees I won't be getting that one.  :o

IrritatorRaji

It looks weird but I think it's intentional. Those plates are backwards in all the promotional pics.
