I love the Struthiomimus pair
...and I have to confess I saved your pics because I'll try to do the same customization  ^-^

Bokisaurus

Thank you everyone for the nice comments, glad you guys enjoyed them😃
avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian  I was inspired by zebra but had to figure out how to transfer the design to a very different body shape 🤣

My next installment would be sauropods which I'm really excited about!
Stay tuned 😃

Sometimes imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or put another way, a celebration of a quality production. I'm in the process of doing the same with several Papo and CollectA figures.

As you may have guessed, I love the color blue!
Here they all are together, they are displayed in one corner of s shelf.

Well, hope you all enjoyed the black and white ball ;D It's been fun doing repaint with just very limited colors, it was a good exercise .
Till the next installment, cheers!

Waah, they look amazing together! Kind of like a rock band.

Bokisaurus

Thanks guys😃
I'm also have been working off and on with repainting some Terra figures 😃

When you're too large to camouflage, disruptive coloration is a good option! These turned out great.

Thats why i prefer colorful dinosaurs over bland ones. Most were too big to be in good camouflage, and dinosaurs probably saw in color, and lots of the dinosaurs we do know the patterns and colors of had rather striking colors, but since they were medium and small dinosaurs, I believe they would had been the best camouflaged, as they were the best sized. I'm pretty sure we have the color of borealpelta, which was a brownish red, and we have the pattern(not the color) of edmontosaurus, which was very elaborate. Of course, most of it is speculative, but its always fun to do so.
And you can still be striking colored and well camouflaged, like the tiger, jaguar, and okapi

Bokisaurus

Okay, time for some repainted theropods from CollectA  ;D
I really love repainting the standard size since they are full of details and fairly cheap. All of these were painted last year but just now got around ro taking photos of them.

Mapusaurus - A great one for repaint and really a good figure for anyone starting to get and practice on. Lots of nice details.
[]

Allosaurus - Another good figure for repainting as it has a lot of details and is really a good figure.
[]

I also have the Baryonyx, hunting feathered rex, and swimming Spinosaurus that will be posted later.
I like to have a copy of the original versions so I usually get a second copy for repaint projects.

Cheers and thanks for looking :))

That Allosaurus looks like it must be venomous with colors like that! Very aposematic, and very attractive. Nice work.

Wow, they remind me of skins from Games like Beasts of Bermuda. I am not playing it, but i really reminds me of Videos and Pictures. Flashy and well executed. I love this Thread.

Oh! And your Zebra heard is fantastic aswell (dem Struthis!). Really looking forward to the hunting rex and swimming Spinosaurus! Since i repainted them myself, i am really excited to see them in a Boki-Dress! At least i think, you mean the CollectAs.

Shonisaurus

That allosaurus with electric colors is a very striking and curious figure that repainting is quite good and the same can be said of the mapusaurus. Boki you have a very creative mind and very awake. These Collecta figures are beautifully repainted. Their Collecta originals are too bland compared to the models you've repainted.

Loon

The Mapusaurus is such a glow up, really. That original figure was so lackluster, I honestly didn't find much appealing in it, but you completely changed that.

Bokisaurus

Thanks everyone!
avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres;D Yes, he does looks like someone not to be messed with! ;D This version was actually amended, you should have seen it with some orange before I covered it up ;D

Okay, next up is these two figures.
Standard swimming Spinosaurus - I love this little figure and consider it the best swimming version.
[]

And the standard feathered hunting rex which I like to call the teenager version due to its body proportion. I wanted to retain the colorful face.
[]

Shonisaurus

You have got those spinosaurus and tyrannosaurus repainted excellently. That white color that you give to these figures and to other figures gives a truly very attractive ghostly appearance. My congratulations.

Bokisaurus

Thanks avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus 😃
I had to repaint the standard Baryonyx again since I wasn't happy with the original one I did. It's the last of the theropods.
Then we move to the sauropods 🤷🏻‍♂️

And the march of the sauropods starts now!
First up is the repainted Brachiosaurus from Safari. Nice sculpt, not not very exciting original colors.
Before and after:
[]

It really is a very beautiful figure and a good one for repaint since its not very expensive and widely available.

SidB

I really like the interplay of the brown and white. "Massive" improvement visually.
