The one with the headshot? Assuming the leak is legit, I'm not the biggest fan of it, though my expectations were low to begin with (on that note, I'm not expecting it to have wings either as the Oviraptor didn't). Just seems like the Jurassic World raptors with feathers slapped on. Eh. But nonetheless I appreciate the attempt, and I am looking forward to getting the figure of it that Mattel inevitably makes. The colors are perhaps fitting for something named Pyroraptor too, based on what we can see here. I'm just hoping it isn't oversized, since the Atrociraptor group is certainly are going to be, and if it was smaller, it would be more acceptable for it to have the classic JP raptor pupils (the Your Dinosaurs Are Wrong video on Velociraptor suggests it could be possible, and the reasons why).

Honestly I think I'm more excited about the potential figures coming out next year, then I am the film (beyond seeing the original surviving cast returning together on screen), particularly Pyroraptor, Iguanodon, Giganotosaurus, and Lystrosaurus, etc.

It seems to have a feather crest thing going on like the Jurassic World Alive design as well.

I hate to break it to you, but that top design is actually fan made, made by someone who saw the concept art, at least judging from what was said here. I'd take it with a grain of salt, and keep expectations lowered, just in case it doesn't at least have wings, and judging from the leaked toy designs, probably won't, aside from the Oviraptor design in the preview can tell us. The toy concept art might not be a bad reference gauge at the moment, despite the stylized art style, assuming that is in itself is legit, as the previous leaked Micro Collection figure and plushie design had a bit more coloration on it. Basically I'm just staying skeptical of things until it drops officially somewhere, such as a trailer, or full render like the Atrociraptor group, etc.

same here! hate that oviraptor, makes 0 sense. wings have been the standard for oviraptor depictions for at least 20 years now (we can thank luis v rey for that i think)
so the one in the preview has no excuse, utter trash.

There is another headshot out there with the mouth closed that does show that there's been at least one change if that concept art is truly legitimate.  The other headshot shows the Pyroraptor with lips similar to Velociraptors in the franchise.  Which is good, because that would've been a little strange otherwise.

Hmm, if the Plesiosaurus has been cut that could explain it's appearance in Jurassic World Evolution 2, and why it is already available there. One of the older leaks described it as having an anaconda shaped head, which isn't far from the truth with how its design ended up there.
Honestly I'd be amazed how they could fit it in anyways with everything else as is. I'm sure there will be plenty of returning staple dinosaurs, in addition to the many that are rumored to be in, and/or whatever ones from the past sequence, which was already a lot.
I mean we already have Dreadnoughtus, Quetzalcoatlus, Pteranodon, Ankylosaurus, Oviraptor, Nasutoceratops, Moros, Igaunodon, Giganotosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Mosasaurus from that past sequence, and then from the renders we also have the Atrociraptor group, Velociraptor Blue (obviously), that new Parasaurolophus design, the BaBR Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, and from animatronics we have the Lystrosaurus, Compsognathus, aside from some of the above. Then there's also the Pyroraptor, Therizinosaurus, and Dimetrodon, and Dilophosaurus that were leaked and/or rumored. At least the Pyroraptor is sure to be in anyways. That's over 20 species already, not counting those like Baryonyx, Triceratops, and Stegosaurus, etc that might also return.

I personally hope that one change will be to the colors.  I think the blue feathers could stand to be a little more vibrant.  I get that a lot of people are critical of the design, but if it has that much feathering?  That's a massive step forward, even if they didn't feather the face.

the current mattel one is just abysmal. the worst attempt (if you can call it that) at a dimetrodon ive ever seen.



the kenner one (which believe it or not, was inspired by a david peters illustration) is far superior, and im hoping we get something more like this...

This prologue is really going to make it or break it about my overall opinion before even watching the entire movie. I really hope this movie is better than JW:FK, and hopefully does not go above and beyond in terms of hybrids/dinosaurs.
