Imperial Nothosaurus:

Cool, there is another Imperial review too, but no category for the company, maybe one could be created? http://dinotoyblog.com/2017/03/11/allosaurus-unknown-company/

That one even says "unknown company". I'm probably going to review more Imperial figures, so a category could be handy...

I'm curious. I always associated Imperial with crappy knockoff toys that are available at your local grocery store. What is the story with this company? Just by looking at the reviews I'm guessing they're a pretty old company that has made a lot of cool stuff, and maybe those grocery store toys that I assumed were ripoffs are actually Imperial originals that other companies have ripped off. What the deal?

Libraraptor

An interesting figure for a review, since it´s such an interesting species executed quite "cheapasaurly".

I don't know much about the company, but Halichoeres posted this picture of a catalogue of sorts when I asked for the figure's identity:

So interesting to see there is actually a "line " of these.

It's worth noting that palaeoartist Mette Aumala is doing a project called "Ludosaurus" based on weird old toys, including that Allosaurus (Dor Mei  made one with a similar odd crest, I have it somewhere too)...

I'll try to see if I can review the other Imperial toys, I think I have them all... But I messed up the Podokesaurus (the only toy of that genus in existence?) as a kid by drawing clothes on it...

I always thought that Allosaurus was supposed to be a toothy Corythosaurus. Interesting subject matter here, perhaps it should have its own thread?

Same here!

There actually is an Imperial thread, although many of the image links are dead. I learned yesterday that the company filed for bankruptcy and was absorbed by Ja-Ru last year. http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=3592.0
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Superb review of Nanmu's apatosaurus from Philsauria. This is an article where the importance of having that figure is emphasized in a collection. Concise but precise article and illustrative images of that great figure.

Great reviews, everyone! I also really like that mat, it´s something   we never had on review before! Very interesting, very welcomed!

Now for the Tyrant King himself, though not in a decent form, as it's by Geoworld.
