An excellent and thorough review, as always, and thanks for the bonus review of The Plesiosaur's Neck as well! Your recreations of some of the page spreads are awesome!

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Fembrogon

Congratulations! This might not have been a deliberate anniversary review for you, but it reads very nicely as one. It's great to see another classic toy get some coverage here on the blog!

(I say, as a relative novice to the subject myself...)

avatar_Gwangi @Gwangi Congrats on reaching 10 years of doing this. I've enjoyed your reviews over the years (in the few years I've been here), and hope to see you continue for more to come.

Thank you kindly avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon, and avatar_CityRaptor @CityRaptor. I have no intention of stopping, although another 10 years of reviews seems daunting. We'll see what happens!

Bokisaurus

Nice choice of subject to mark the occasion.
Amazing how fast times fly ya? Congratulations!😃

Gwangi

Thanks B @Bokisaurus, yes, the quick passage of time is something that frequently blows my mind, and occasionally terrifies me.

Well, here it is, my much delayed review of Wilson V2 ;D I originally intended this review to be posted way back in January around my birthday, but so many things got in the way.
It marks my 75th review, so I wanted to make it a little different. I have chosen to look at it from a whole new perspective to give it a new meaning.
This review was not originally in my plan... but a couple of response from my comment when I posted a photo of this figure in my collection thread. Those two comments by avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian and S @SidB somehow resonated and would be the seed for an idea and eventually this review, so thank you guys! ;D
Hope you like it, cheers!

Well, let me say this about that - you have presented an absolutely unique review. There's nothing like it on the DTB. Very moving and more than a bit melancholy in truth and I am glad that you felt moved to produce it. I must also say that the special perspective on Wilson v. 2 as a senior "citizen" is very cool and more than a bit convincing. In fact it has inspired me to assign a new place in my PNSO rex diorama to him, once Logan  and Andrea arrive.

B @Bokisaurus Congrats on reaching review number #75!

Very good review as well, touching upon a subject matter all too often ignored. Well done. And I feel you on the age thing. I just hit 30 this year. Exciting, but also a dreadful reminder about the inevitable that comes for us all sooner or later.

You make very good points about how over time the definitive version never stays for long, and how even our own collecting habits change over the years. It is something I find myself evaluating now, especially as the lack of space makes me wonder how long I can truly stick with this hobby, especially if I don't get rid of things, never mind a constant fluctuating financial situation, where at times things have been prosperous, and other times I'm on the verge of poverty. It is mind blowing I've been able to obtain as much as I have been, despite it all. The best we can do is to enjoy it while it lasts I suppose.

Gwangi - 10 years.  Wow, where does the time go.  You are one of the reviewers that, by your interesting writing, got me reading the reviews on this site.  I still laugh at the 1996 carnotaurus review. Pure inspiration.

Kapitaenosavrvs

Congrats to avatar_Gwangi @Gwangi for your 10 Years! And thanks for still doing Reviews :)

Thanks also to B @Bokisaurus for a Review that has a feeling, that the Reviewer actually likes collecting Dinosaur figures and a Review that breaks with all the Standards that evolved in the last Years within the Internet. This feels right to me and a lot of stuff you said was close to thoughts i have. Thanks.

Also the use of new Media: Wonderful.

Gwangi

Thanks avatar_laticauda @laticauda, that means a lot to me to hear. In recent years I've began to wonder what impact or effect my reviews may have had over the years, if any at all. It's good to know that at least one person was inspired.

Thank you as well, avatar_Kapitaenosavrvs @Kapitaenosavrvs.

Bokisaurus

S @SidB thank very much, glad you liked it. Honestly I wasn't expecting the result to be as personal as it may have turned out to be, somehow it just all came out during the writing process.
One of the reasons it was so delayed was I wasn't so sure how to conclude it🤣

I have been trying to make some my reviews a little bit more personal if I could successfully integrate it with the subject, I feel that I wanted the readers to have a little glimpse of who I am😉

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin thanks, yah, growing old is both exciting and daunting at time. Sometimes it's hard to look back at the rear view mirror.

avatar_Kapitaenosavrvs @Kapitaenosavrvs awww thanks for the sweet comment, much appreciated.
I have found it fascinating to see all the changes that happened in such a short span of time. This has really gave me a pause and reflect on which road I would want to take in terms of collecting. Glad you enjoyed the review.
And yes, I just found the comparison images function! I never saw it before and haven't seen anyone use it. It's a cool way to present some photos 😃

Thanks guys!😃
