avatar_EmperorDinobot @EmperorDinobot I'm very sorry about what happens to you, sorry I haven't read it, since I usually visit the Internet very little for that reason, apart from wasting time "time is money" on being on the Internet excessively. I recommend that you stop watching the Internet and dedicate yourself to reading paper books or opposing as I do. I have improved my eyesight as a result of not seeing much of the Internet now. Is a friend's advice.

In any case, the cataracts are operated on and they give you back your sight. Cheer up!

Postada: I apologize to the Administrator but having not read those posts I have been forced to write these lines, I know they have nothing to do with the subject but I am very sorry about EmperorDinobot.

The CollectA Orthoceras. With that, all the CollectA 2020 figures have now been reviewed.

avatar_Gwangi @Gwangi So glad to see this now. Wonderfully written and researched review. Love the idea with seeing it alongside the fossils. It was something I was planning to do way back, when it was announced, but as we both know I'm still behind on getting it yet (I hope to amend that later this year, along with the  Edaphosaurus at least). I'm also happy to see it alongside the Safari Reef Squid (another beautiful figure I am tragically behind on) and that both are in 1/1 scale.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, glad you enjoyed the review, and I'm sorry you were unable to get to it. I was looking forward to someone else's review for one of these cephalopods. But I was happy to review it too, and learned a bit while writing it. I know how frustrating it can be to fall behind on acquisitions, it's a never ending struggle. I blame Mattel because I tend to prioritize them what with their short shelf life and inflation. Do get the Edaphosaurus when you can, it's wonderful!

I actually reviewed the reef squid too for the Animal Toy Blog. As it turns out, it's got a major flaw, but I still like it all the same.

avatar_Gwangi @Gwangi Yep that's absolutely my situation as well. And as a species completionist I've had to import quite a number that were not sold here in the states over the years, which can up the costs of what I spend. The Beasts of the Mesozoic line is another big spender from me. At least I'm also slowly but surely getting caught up on the other brands here and there, and thank goodness I'm nothing but patient. I try to prioritize older stuff when I can at times too, so long as I can catch it in stock when I finally get to it. I know I sat way too long on the Southlands Replicas Thylacoleo, and perhaps the Rebor Acrocanthosaurus which was a grave mistake (at least there's the Papo, but I still hope for something more accurate then either of those to release someday). At least I didn't miss out on the limited Rebor Titanoboa, or the Southlands Diprotodon and Thylacine, that Dejankins thankfully still had in stock earlier this year.

I'll be sure to check out that review too as well here soon. Thanks for sharing it.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, I've missed out on a lot over the years thinking I could just "get it later" or whatever. The Carnegie Tylosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Ichthyosaurus come to mind, so do the re-released Bullyland mammals. I was so excited when Bullyland released them again, took it for granted, and ultimately missed the boat. Places like this and social media groups definitely help keeping you in the know. Now I like to think that if something I want is going to be retired I'll at least know about it before it is too late. But I'm not a completionist and I've accepted that I can't have it all, if I hadn't then I would probably go crazy, and bankrupt.

I'm with you on Acrocanthosaurus. As a favorite theropod of mine I'm not satisfied with any of the existing models, even though I have five of them. My hope is for PNSO to tackle it someday.

Happy to see it posted now. It was a joy writing it, researching, and getting images of this beauty. This was also my 29th review, so my next one will be my 30th. It's been a long time coming. I am hoping I can get back on track with doing these a bit more frequently as I did back in 2019, perhaps at least one a month. Looking back at my list of all my reviews, 2020 was pretty poor with only two, but with how seriously the pandemic negatively impacted my life, among other things, and how bad my depression was as a result of that, it shouldn't be shocking. I am doing vastly much better now.

If anyone is curious here's a list of all my previous reviews:

There are still some I want to revisit/have edited or get new pics for. Particularly the Dromaeosaurus (which I retook pictures of, but have been sitting on them since 2019!, and I still also want to revise the text since it was one of my earliest), and perhaps the Dual Attack Allosaurus now that we know it was actually based upon Allosaurus jimmadseni.

It looks to me like avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin should be an official reviewer by now, what do you think avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum?

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin B @Bokisaurus You have done two deluxe revisions of two well-known dinosaurs whose figures are being surpassed by leaps and bounds with the PNSO and Eofauna versions respectively the parasaurolophus and triceratops. What a photo credit! My congratulations to both of you.
