And here's my review of the original version of the Carnegie Pachycephalosaurus.

I'm pretty sure this model has a review already but I still quite liked yours. Great job!

Yes, here: http://dinotoyblog.com/2009/12/13/pachycephalosaurus-carnegie-collection-by-safari-ltd/

No big deal. We can update the titles to read at the end "(review 1)" and "(review 2)" respectively.

That's perfectly fine by me. And thanks, Gwangi!

Understanding the duplication was accidental of course, but still....
In light of this happening anyway despite the debate about wether figures can have more than one review, I would like to request to re-review one figure...one solitary dinosaur and have it treated in a similar fashion, and I am almost positive anyone could guess which retired Carnegie figure I would like to ....update. Is this possible?

I think amargasaurus deserves a chance to review his favourite dinosaur. If he is permitted, then I`m happy to edit and post the review for him.

You are welcome. Just because we've argued over topics in the past doesn't mean we can't be friendly and helpful to each other. Don't worry, I'm sure we will argue again someday. ;)

I have to say though, the last thing I wanted to do with my Carnegie Pachycephalosaurus review was to create a slippery sloped headache for Adam. I will abide by whatever administrative decision he makes.

I am unsure this one is much of a slippery slope...the model was introduced in 1999, retired in 2004 and the original review was quite well written and done by Gryph. Since then alot of psittacosaurus information has come to light that directly relates to the dinosaur and its respective model. I think the original review covered the model well, I just would enjoy the chance to tack on a follow-up type treatment so to speak. my opinion is if I were wanting to question and second guess the original work, that would be a different issue, but I do not. I simply wish to continue or further the review in a sense, following the original footsteps made.

Well, the Carnegie Pachycephalosaurus that was reviewed previously is a different version.  Thanks to your review I now know the original version was missing a toe which was corrected in the second version!  Now I'm getting the feeling that wasn't the only retooling done in the Carnegie Collection.  I'm glad you found your Pachycephalosaurus, and I appreciate your review of it.  Your review was actually quite different to the previous Carnegie Pachycephalosaurus review, but I found both reviews good and interesting.

The related reviews being shown under Suspsy's Carnegie Pachycephalosaurus review are of the other Carnegie Pachycephalosaurus, the Carnegie Amargasaurus and the Carnegie Psittacosaurus.  That's quite a coincidence, it's like the Dino Toy Blog knows what's being discussed in this thread and wants amargasaurus to review the Carnegie Psittacosaurus!

suspsy

Thank you, Sim, I appreciate that.

I appreciate the irony of that Sim, doesnt appear to be an answer forthcoming, or that interest is there. Oh well it is just an idea...
