Meng Zhuchengtitan. Wasn't satisfied with the original head paint, especially since the eyes aren't even painted in the correct position! Overall still a great model of a unique species. Wish the pegs were on the base rather than on the figure itself though, as I like to display figures without bases usually.

Elengassen

Definitely an improvement, well done! When I first saw the pictures of the Zhuchengtitan's head in Halichoeres's collection thread, I thought it looked like it was wearing a Robin mask.

Thank you! As I was covering up the red war paint, I noticed that many details were obscured by the thick glossy paint. Inlcuding anatomical skull outlines (not shrink wrapped), nostrils, eyes & eyelids and the ear canal.

There really was no excuse for Meng to have painted the eye in front of the eye itself, since they're actually sculpted into the head.

Some recent JP/JW goodies I managed to obtain:

Faelrin

Just arrived courtesy of A @Andysdinosaurreviews . Absolutely stoked to have this one in my collection now. Family is gone today for a bit, so I'm going to take the time to get some new review images for my Eoraptor vs Stegouros set (and the Koolasuchus as well that I'm behind on), as well as the Kaprosuchus (since it too is a psuedosuchian, just missing/behind on Prestosuchus, Gryposuchus, and the elusive Dakosaurus for what it is worth, and as far as Triassic period fauna goes, just the Prestosuchus, until the new Lophostropheus comes out).

Hah! you finally got it! Congrats avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin ! I saw like 5 of them yesterday in different locations and was about to pm you, see if you needed one.
The smaller figures were never rare around here. I panicked when the baby Nasutoceratops vanished for a good 3 months, but they were all abundant and easy to locate after that.

I haven't gotten any new dinos, but I have my transplant b-day on Sunday, and I feel like a late bloomer, but I'm getting the HC Theri and Giga. And I'm still waiting for the BOTM Dilophosaurus, which I am going to review the minute it gets here. I'm opening it on my b-day though.

If I survive that.

The Anchiornis is named Luffy, which was my sister's nickname for several years. No relation to Luffy from 1 piece. Oh and I'm just noticing it's little red head just like her!

Acquired some wonderful (and whacky!) JP/JW items with the amazing help of a dear friend:

EmperorDinobot

I gotta get the epic damage T.rex and raptor, but isn't the raptor the same that comes with the explorer?

Favorite V1 Plesiosaurus.

Nothing special but I got myself another Captivz egg, and got the green Atrociraptor Tiger from it. Almost looks like Charlie from JW which was my favorite of the raptor squad back when JW first came out almost a decade ago now. I also found a near full case of the series 2 JW minis so I using the codes in my 2024 Mattel thread, got myself the green Brachiosaurus, Giganotosaurus (I wanted another since my first one is in an inaccessible storage unit atm), and the Ankylosaurus w/ Ceratosaurus. Honestly now that I think about it, it was probably a redundant pick up since I might still try to get my hands on those Chaos Theory mini sets sometime this year, which comes with those figures, but then again so is that extra Giganotosaurus. I might try to get a size comparison with these and the previous minis I have on hand. It's really interesting how drastically smaller some of these were to the old ones due to the new sense of scale introduced to the line since Dominion released. On the other hand a lot of them lose the articulation gimmick(s) they once had from being just too small for it.

Edit: I'll get a pic tomorrow. Too tired to do so now.

More or less. Apparently there are some minute differences, but I can't tell them apart.

PrimevalRaptor

Not as exciting of a pickup as the Nothosaurus but found the Mattel Kaprosuchus on sale
Pales in accuracy compared to the Safari/Papo ones but I always love seeing more crocodyliformes represented in toy form

Admittedly it reminds me the tiniest bit of the one in Primeval too

SidB

The new HLG Yoshi's trike arrived by post and it's a magnificent figure. I bought the green/yellow figure. Definitely my favorite Triceratops among the many in my collection, even surpassing the Safari and PNSO ones.

It's more massive than the HLG Pentaceratops, which I use as a Titanosaurus, which is likely enough. This way, they size up pretty well over against each other.

It dwarfs the Eofauna offering, as well as displaying a far greater complexity and quality of paint application.

It's joined the ceratopsian collection, here seen in part. In this context it's size seems okay. Adjacent is Safari's Triceratops figure, which color-wise fits in well, especially with it's modified paint-job. I've relegated the PNSO and Eofauna ones to storage, at least for now.

I opened my grey Haolonggood Triceratops today. Like S @SidB, I'm impressed by the quality. Well done to V @vampiredesign and his team!

I too, got my grey Triceratops in the mail yesterday. Absolutely stunning! But I feel bad about replacing my Safari version, so both are are displayed together until I make up my mind.

I've been getting most of my Haolonggood from Minizoo, but I couldn't wait for this. I'll get the green version from Minizoo as well when they get stock. Both are great.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

I've got to get one of these. Where, may I ask, did you acquire this?

And is it PVC or resin?

I bought it from Marco Makes's Etsy shop. Unfortunately he only releases them in limited batches and they usually sell out pretty quickly. I don't know if it will ever be re-released again, but I'd say your best shot is to follow him on social media or YouTube as he will announce it there.

It says on the product page that it's made of resin. It feels like a light, brittle material similar to Shapeways prints (or Tamiya kits, if that helps).

I'm planning exactly the same. I'll pick up the green version when it reaches my local supplier.
