And there's some pics of the actual figures in packaging here: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp_X0jfFr6H/

Turns out the yellow and blue striped Attack Pack raptor is intended to be Delta. Too bad it looks nothing like her. A bit closer to Echo, but it is yellow instead of brown. This is Hasbro bad in terms of messing up with the color scheme.

The others are looking nice though. I wish we were able to see the Coelurus (if it really does indeed have that pink blue and white color scheme, which is likely considering the others here).

Seriously? Delta is supposed to be turquoise green.

I'm really starting to get a little bit worried. Mistakes likes this, alongside with too many repaints and paint schemes with crazy colors are not a good sign. I hope this does not set the bar of what we can expect of Mattel in the future.

At these price points, and especially taking into account the inclusion of a collector oriented series (not talking about the Legacy line), I really don't think it's that serious of a problem. The colour-schemes are simply not going to be very detailed in this price range, and I feel like Mattel does a respectable job of making these minimalist colour-schemes look as good as they do (look good =/= film accurate per-se though).

Repaints aside, Mattel has made more new sculpts for this 2018 line-up of toys than Hasbro did for any previous film. And what we've seen from 2019 already has about the same amount of new sculpts as any "off-film" line Hasbro made had.

Inspired by the fact that that "Delta" is majorly botched, I threw together a custom edit for fun:

I'm really hoping Mattel does better with continuity/accuracy of their designs in the future. The toys based directly on non Fallen Kingdom films are looking kinda wonky.

avatar_ChrisLikesDinos @ChrisLikesDinos Nice edit. Now you made me want a film accurate raptor squad. If only...
Minor criticism, Delta should be more of a turquoise green with a grey tone rather than just plain grey.

Otherwise, keep up the good work. ;)

Not that big of a deal with delta. We've seen worse like mislabeled pachyrhinosaurus

Ok, so apparently these are starting to show up?

I mean, technically everything in the main toy line has been released, but we are still missing some battle damage and legacy dinosaurs(Pteranodon, Velociraptor, JP3 Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus).
It isn't a little bit early for these? Also Im starting to get worried about the remaining figures, I NEED some of them.
PD: The Stegosaurus looks better than promotional pictures, but I'm not 100% convinced. The Suchomimus actually looks nice, but if you had the first one then it is not worth your attention. About the T.rex....and I though the Thrash n´Throw had a big head...This one could work as an oversized Funko Pop. ;D

It was said on JPToys these would be hitting before Christmas.   I like the color of the Rex, more natural like the first film.

It's dissapointing when mattel is already releasing 2019 items when many parts of the world still don't have access to Wave 2 and 3 products...
These don't look particularly good either, they resemble cheap knockoff toys.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Some places may never get those releases, however with lines like this there will be reissues aplenty and those may see better distribution.

Sneak peak of retooled allosaurus...

Aaaand it's the Roarivore sculpt. Darn. What a waste.

Heavily resembles the prototype Allo:

"Super head strike" on the Stego.... doesn't seem so super.

avatar_MLMjp @MLMjp As far as I'm aware, the Legacy Dilophosaurus and JPIII styled raptor have yet to hit stores. The Battle Damage Velociraptor and Pteranodon were available on Walmart's US website for a short time, but have not been in stock since (or at least not that I've seen). There's also that Mosasaurus Matchbox set I've been waiting on that I haven't spotted anywhere yet (assuming it wasn't canceled. Could just be very late).

Going to just copy my response I posted about these new pics elsewhere:

That new rex looks tempting for me. I only wish that the colors on the back matched the darker markings on the head a tad more. Might be the closest thing to the coloration of the animatronic rex from the first film that we'll get though.

Also it is worth mentioning that just the other day the Spinosaurus went back up for sale on Target's website, only to go out of stock instantly. Seems like they are going back on their word of not carrying it again, although it may be too early to tell.

Not against large enemies, but smaller ones might need to watch out for the beak. She's gonna peck them to death!

I wouldn't call them that. Neither KOs nor McDonalds toys. You know, they are not made by Hasbro.

Yep. Germany for example seldom gets the second series of a JP movie. And the one time we got it, it was rare. As for JW: Curently we mostly have wave 1, with wave 2 being rare so far.

So, anyone else hearing the Itchy & Scratchy theme when reading the name of that T.rex?

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

tanystropheus

Did they streamline the sculpt for the Allosaurus?

What is up with the T-rex? It looks the same as the old model but for some reason it also looks disproportionate as if the head is larger or something...I can't quite put my finger on it...I think I am losing my mind.  :P

And there goes the possibility of a new Allosaurus, some money saved I guess.

I think it's the neck, where it's articulated makes it look less bulky so the head seems larger. I do like the paint so I'll have to see it in person to see if it's worth it.

terrorchicken

I like the coloring on the new T-rex too. Is it a retool of the Extreme Chomping or the Trash n Throw? Looks like the former. I dont think EC can twist its head though.

Nothing new in regards of these new toys, but the Coelurus has been added to the Jurassic Facts app. For some reason it was absent from the app when the new dinosaurs appeared.
