I cannot believe my entry gathered so many votes  :o !
There were many other great photos that I myself voted for.

I am very humbled and grateful to everybody that picked my photo out of the numerous awesome other entries.
It has been really fun, also a bit of on obssesion of mine to make that specific scene come to "life".

Congratulations to the other winners and thank you to everyone that participated with a diorama and to those that took the time to vote.
Thank you DTF and UrzeitShop!   :))

While the only one in the top 3 I voted for was the well-deserved winner, I nevertheless congratulate all the top 6!  :)

So yours is, unless I've done my calculations wrong, either entry number 5, 30, 36 or 56.

As for my result, my self-deprecating comments came true (although, at least I got 1 vote (which wasn't from myself)).

Barry Onyx

Yay, 2.8%! Made it Ma, top of the world!

No but seriously, congrats to all especially the well-deserved winners.

Just a quick question. Maybe the answer is self-evident. Now that the contest is over, is it ok for me to post my entry online?

You are correct. My entry is the 30th "One's Loss is Another's gain

You accidentally posted inside of the quote tag, rather than outside of it. :) Easy mistake to mistake, I do it all the time. Easy to fix by going back into the post and copy-pasting the sentence.

All the ones I voted for are on here, nice! These are also so amazing, congrats to winners and honourable mentions!

Wow, some of these caught me off guard! Congratulations to the winners and to all the participants!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Great job everyone.  Hat's off to the winners, amazing job!

Congratulations to the Winners and to all the participants!

A humble request... I hope the participants could post a brief (or detailed if you prefer) breakdown of their dioramas as well as their thoughts on the whole creative process.

Congratulations again.  Awesome, awesome work!

irimali

Wow!  It was very hard this year to pick only 10 to vote for.  Congratulations to the winners!  And to all the other impressive dioramas!

2. Pleistozän von Mitteleuropa (Pleistocene of mid Europe), with a bit of primeval
-This one is seriously impressive.

5. ...and then something close by caught her attention...
-Is this a custom made T-rex?  It's very natural looking with a beautiful paintjob.  Also anyone who makes a bunch of individual magnolia blossoms deserves credit.

21. A little bit nostalgia with the feeding of titanosaurs at Prehistoric Park
-There's a lot of cool details in this one.  The signs and the mural on the wall, the bird sitting on top(is that a shoebill stork?), the fact that the huaghetitan is being fed conifer branches and the zookeeper is carrying a bundle of giant horsetails.  that and it's a well composed shot.  I would totally buy a children's book about a dinosaur zoo if the illustrations were done like this.

25. Go for the tender meat
-This is a good action shot and the camera angle is perfect.  The trees/scenery are all well made and blend seamlessly with the background.

28. On the hunt
-This on also, great job combining a real backdrop with a miniature foreground.  All the figures look like real animals.  Believably feathered and posed naturally.   It's nice to see sickle-clawed theropods without the slightest hint of monsterism.

37. Less gets more
-There's a nice sense of depth here, like a dry stream bed running back into the forest behind the Acrocanthosaurs.  Just overall good.  Nice framing, nice interaction between the animals, nice trees.

39. Happy waterhole!
-Desmatosuchus was always one of my favorites.  I love their curiosity and all the other little critters in there.

Mr. Challenger

Congratulations to the winners and thank you to the 32 people who vote my entry: Sandstorms in dry season  :)
Mine is a digital composition from several pictures of the Collecta Xenoceratops (with a handmade baby) on a real diorama with a heavy photoshop editing after (the reflection on the water is real at least)
Hope you liked it!
