Hi! I'm Daniel and here is my sculpture of Tyrannosaurus :)

Making of polymer clay (fimo professional champagne)

It is not complete it os in progress:)

Halichoeres

Welcome to the forum, Daniel!  :)
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

My attempt to find the best toy of every species

Megalosaurus

Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

Killekor

Welcome to the forum! That T-Rex looks nice. Well made!

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

I also found this forum becouse of kayakasaurus while looking in google for his tutorials:D

It's been a good run here

Shonisaurus

A very well sculpted figure I congratulate you Daniel and welcome to the DTF.

Bokisaurus

Very nice, and considering that this is your first attempt at sculpting, even more impressive!
You are brave to tackle a biped, I never had the courage or patience to do one when I was sculpting. Can't wait to see how it turns up finished.

Thank you Lizerd:)
I need somr help. I made mold for casting. Problem is clay which I used (as kayakasaurus showed in his videos) to made it.
It is hard to remove it from mold. Do you know any tips? I cant cast resin until I clean this mold :(
It's "natural clay". I tried with water but it is not perfect

Killekor

The prototype of the sculpture was good, but this completed T-Rex is impressive! Congratulations!
Will you never sell some casts of it?

Thank you:)
I will cast and I will sell if sb would like to buy. But I don't have vacuum chamber. Little bubbles are possible. I will present first resin dino in 2 weeks (probably)
I made few changes. Head and arms
This brown "thing" in the mold is clay

mgaguilar

Would love to pick one of these up! Very rare to see a gaping maw type of figure like this.
Really excited, do keep posting photos!

PWRXerXes

I tried to make silicone molds but I can't :/
T rex needs 4-5 [l] of silicone:/
I was trying to make it with 2l but it failed. I will try once more in future. It is to expensive for first time and I need to make at least one succesful mold before. I need to try something much smaller than this t rex and get some experience. For now i have some pics of Allosaurus for you. It is in progress. It has torso one leg neck and tail.
I am using new poly clay. It is white clay but unfortunately it is also transparent and I can see second layer of poly clay which is different color. The white color become transparent after baking.

It also has prototype of head;)

Killekor

The Allosaurus prototype look really nice! I'm curious to see it completed.
