It's a beautifully detailed hulking beast ...love it. P.S. scales well with Papo's Iguanodon.

Apparently they're doing some variants.

A couple Sideshow colors looks like. Neat and vibrant, but the sculpt is the same and I have the first Sideshow one so I'm good.

Carnoking

I do like the colors, but honestly two of these beasts is enough (I'm counting the ekrixinatosaurus in that)

Yeah, and they are... interesting...

They are interesting carnotaurus but I like the crimson version of the carnotaurus better.

Any Giganotosauruses are friends. Any other carnivores are...I think I'll run now.

Saw on instagram the other day that Rebor is reissuing this one, but with different paint. Figured I'd share it here in case folks are interested.

I'm not seeing any real "premium" paint? I bought the last one and it might be a bit lighter in coloration but not that much?

Faelrin

Honestly I'm not sure either. Could be a bit more red in coloration? Someone posted a comparison in the comments on the FB, and that's what I seem to picking up on. They also said pre-orders for it were up, but nothing at BBTS just yet.

I'm probably passing. I bought two of the last one and they work pretty well as my Disney Dinosaur Carno pair.

I'm tempted to get it, only because I possess one and would like to have a pair just like the film.
However, I am not convinced the updated version is more screen accurate. I think the original looks closer to how they look in the movie, with the slightly more purple-ish tones.

I agree.   The old toys even looked shiney sort of pearlescent.  That could have been cool.  The horns as I recall are also slightly different?  That would have been something to change

I keep trying to deny myself getting this one, to go with my V1, by telling myself the same thing.

But The Justification Demon in my head keeps saying "Ooo, the new one could be like a FEMALE... "

Haha, same!

I caved and placed an order with BBTS...and I feel much better now!
It's a great figure either way. I'm sure we won't be disappointed...just a little poorer.

Very nice, I'd be tempted if they worked on the stability of the figure, but I don't think that is the case. Mine needs a stand to keep it from toppling over. I actually prefer the original paintwork also. A pair is a great idea though!

Blade-of-the-Moon

I have a Disney Dino Carnotaur coming from Gabriel Fuentes eventually. He's Guilherme Bilinski Bertolazzo's assistant.

That looks incredible!
Is he accepting orders? I tried searching for the figure, but did not have much luck
