Lisowicia bojani  FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

Allosaurus fragilis

Lisowicia bojani

I was fearing that Lisowicia was going to be too big but I like it's size, I'm getting that one!

1. The allosaurus Looks nice but it's to small and in the end not that spectaculair to look at.

2. The megalodon has a good sculpt but i was hoping for an original more non-white-shark-like interpretation. It looks allot like the PNSO one which i already own.

3. The Lisowicia texture-wise is to simple and the paintjob is kinda atrocious.

Honestly, last year was a much better year for Collecta...

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a deluxe Allosaurus next year or the following. By the way this kind of reminds me of the tripod green Allosaurus from Safari a bit, just not a tripod and not so shrink wrapped.

While I really like the new Allo, I can't help but feel that the arms and legs are a bit too thin. Making them more muscular would've been preferable. I wonder how this Allo stacks up to Safari's 2019 one.

Looks less awkward than the PNSO megalodon (both versions) in terms of proportions and sculpt, and the articulated jaw is better executed here than on the small PNSO megalodon. Still not a big fan of the articulated jaw, especially when CollectA themselves addressed the challenges when making articulated jaws on sharks.
I wonder which genus the figure is based off of. Would be neat if it was Otodus instead of Carcharocles.

Lisowicia is a definite must buy. Great colour choice (though the patterning is a bit shoddy) and lovely sculpt. The only issue I see with the figure is it being expensive due to its size.

The Lisowicia! It looks fantastic. First nice dicynodont sculpt we have ever seen, and I think the colors are serviceable. I like the pattern. I think this one was executed much better than the recent Estemmenosuchus.

Allosaurus looks good and hopefully scales well with the green 2008 Safari Allosaurus, which fits into the 1:40 scale range.

Honestly why bother with a Megalodon if it doesn't differ enough from a figure of a white shark in the end? If it MUST be counter shaded then use a nice chocolate brown or something else for a change instead of gray on the dorsal side, or at least make it BIG and 1:35 to 1:40 scale.

The list turns out to be genuine! That means DIPLODOCUS is coming!
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

But... It is at 1:40 scale. At least the average sized Megalodon is at that size. For the largest estimates, it is closer to 1:65. Even then, this is a figure nearly a foot long (it comes out to nearly 11 inches.) Using this for a great white gets you about 1:20 to 1:22 at the largest. Like don't get me wrong, I'm a tad iffy on the Megalodon too, but it isn't wrong on those criticisms.

I think all three of these toys look fantastic, especially the Lisowicia. Love the speckled pattern on its back. That one in the photo must be a prototype, as it doesn't appear to have an articulated lower jaw.

Between the Allosaurus and the Saltriovenator, CollectA appears to have finally done away with bases for their theropods. It will be interesting to see what the Mapusaurus is like next week.

At first glance, the Megalodon does look like another oversized great white shark, but there are a number of anatomical differences. The head is much shorter and deeper, the body is more compact, and the dorsal, pectoral, and caudal fins have different shapes and proportions.

And as far as the colours are concerned, I certainly agree that brown or gold or beige or dark blue would have been a nice alternative, but the fact of the matter is that dark grey would have worked very well for a colossal predatory shark. And the dentition appears to be superior to that of the medium-sized PNSO figure. I'll point this out again too: for all its fame and popularity, Megalodon really hasn't had very many toys. I think this is the best one to date.

Oh, and while I don't like to pour cold water on anyone's excitement, I think it's possible that the Diplodocus will end up being a repaint of the 2013 version. But we shall see.

It is however quite outdated. This is a Hollywood megalodon. It probably wasn't that closely related to the great white shark. They should have made a ripp off of the smithsonian model. This is a boring figure.

First off, I have to say that I am so happy with that Lisowicia figure. It looks beautiful and for such a newly discovered animal, I am positively thrilled to see it with an actual figure.

The Allosaurus looks okay. I personally am going to stick with the Safari LTD 2019 one that I got since it just feels a bit more... interesting to me. Think it's the color scheme

Megalodon... oh, you are going to the most controversial figure of the line, aren't you? On the one hand, this figure leans a bit more into the Great White Shark look than I am comfortable with for my Megalodon... but on the other hand this is the model hanging in the Smithsonian that is up to date on the big shark:

And here is the new Collecta figure:

I don't know. The coloration is Great White as all hell, but something about saying that this figure is just an upscaled Great White or just the Hollywood Meg feels off to me. I'm not saying that people are wrong for saying that. I'm just saying that for myself, something feels off to a degree that makes me uncomfortable with agreeing to that.

Man, that Lisowicia looks amazing!!!
I like the Megalodon too... a little closer to a great white than I would have liked, but still chunky looking enough to obviously be something else.
The Allosaurus is very well sculpted, but the pose is somewhat uninspired. It looks like it's standing at a lectern.

The Allosaurus certainly reminds me of the recent Safari Ltd one, with its green color (though without the exotic patterns), red crests, and the fact it seems to have lips. Very nice figure over all, though I do wonder if they will do a deluxe one down the road.

The Megalodon looks pleasing to me, and might be one of the best on the market, maybe other then Safari Ltd's, and PNSO's? Granted I don't really know much on this one, but then again it doesn't have much in the way of remains anyways. Might make a nice display alongside the Dunkleosteus and some of the marine reptiles they've done (and Basilosaurus). I also agree with avatar_suspsy @suspsy about there being a surprisingly lack of figures of this species, considering how popular this giant shark has been as of late, but at least there's one more to add to the pile now.

Perhaps the most exciting of the bunch of these for me is that Lisowicia. Not only do dicynodonts have poor representation (as well as Triassic animals in general) when it comes to figures (with perhaps the next best thing being any merchandise on the Bulbasaur line of Pokemon, which bears striking resemblance to dicynodonts, if not being based on them to some degree), this is certainly a beautiful figure, and it seems CollectA wasted no time in getting one made of this recently published genus. It's also a good choice of species too for being the largest dicynodont found yet (like small elephant sized). I do like the color scheme as well too. Not bland, but still looks quite naturalistic for what is a large animal. I can only hope they'll give us more dicynodonts down the road.

Anyways it seems like they saved the best for last, at least to me anyways, because of all the prehistoric invertebrates still yet to be shown, from that list on the Greek CollectA site, and for me personally I love prehistoric invertebrates almost as much as I love dinosaurs. Prehistoric invertebrates also haven't had much in the way of figures either, outside of Japanese companies mostly, although CollectA's previous prehistoric marine tube was a good push in that direction, aside from a few others here and there (such as the ROM set, or the Safari Ltd Cambrian Life toob). Or at least I'm sincerely hoping those are next, if at all. Would also be good continuation of the Paleozoic figures they've been doing now, for some of those anyways, and yes I certainly think prehistoric invertebrates from then are just as important to represent as creatures like Estemmenosuchus, Edaphosaurus, etc, considering the early ocean(s) were filled with strange and wonderful invertebrates.

I love the Lisowicia - it has a real spark of life and the colours and pattern are nicely naturalistic.  I'm not too inspired by the Allosaurus.  It looks a bit run-of-the-mill and dull - with rather large feet gracing rather puny legs.

Wow! The lisowicia of Collecta 2020 is by far the outstanding figure of this group. His painting is exceptional. Despite having articulated jaws, seams in the promotional image are not noticeable. Your details like musculature, wrinkles look great

The Collecta 2020 allosaurus goes around its predecessor of the ancient period of Collecta. I would have liked both the allosaurus and the saltriovenator with fixed bases. I am afraid that both the allosaurus and the saltriovenator will be very rigid plastic on all the legs so we will have to be careful when placing this figure on a safe shelf to avoid breakage. It has no lips a point in its favor is more scientific and the wrinkles, spines and scales judging by the promotional figure look very realistic and the bumps on the head give it an outstanding image would celebrate Collecta making an allosaurus in Deluxe format in for years to come and if it could be with fixed bases and if not, it would be equally acceptable if it were without bases as long as the material was resistant to abrasions and breakage.

The Collecta megalodon of 2020 is bigger than expected! And very detailed and sincerely is in the average of brilliance of those of its kind with the exception of the PNSO megalodon of vinyl that surpasses all the figures of that prehistoric shark.
Collecta are taking this year one hundred percent outstanding figures and are an improvement especially with the lisowicia with respect to his figures of prehistoric animals last year competing in genius with the edaphosaurus. Thanks Collecta!

Lisowicia is now high on my orders list, the other two will be a pass for me. Holding out high hopes for the Diplodocus, if that list conbtinues to prove genuine, but also prepared to be disappointed, though not as disappointed as I was with the Mojo Diplod.`
