Surely I can't be the only one that sees this.

Shonisaurus

Errata: I said that a Mapusaurus of Deluxe size by Collecta is needed repeatedly and I have not realized that the Mapusaurus Deluxe was fortunately made in 2018.

I did not remember that in my collection I had the Mapusaurus Deluxe of the year 2018, so it is reprehensible for me not to remember that detail. My apologies to DTF.

With regard to the 2019 Schleich giganotosaurus and the Collecta 2020 mapusaurus, the resemblance is true, but in my case I have no complaints with the Schleich giganotosaurus and honestly it doesn't seem bad.

All of the figures look nice, but none of them interest me. Happy for those who wanted them though. :)

PrimevalRaptor

The Mapusaurus is neat, would prefer a more interesting colour scheme though.

The Ammonite and Belemnite are incredible, look pretty lifelike and those poses sure will be handy for the diorama people! :D

The more I look at the Mapu, the wronger it looks.
Maybe it's just due to the angle, but the skinniness is very off putting. Especially that thin rat tail.
It's weird how CollectA went with such a skinny interpretation when they have another carnosaur in the lineup that is properly muscular. The feet look really awkward as well.

Hopefully more images of the figure will surface soon.

I'm really impressed by the upcoming figures that CollectA is releasing! They're great!

Here's my thoughts about these latest figures:

Mapusaurus: Really nice, although I prefear the Deluxe version (even if this one fortunately doesn't have a base). Vote 8/10

Pleuroceras Ammonite: This is the best model that CollectA has released in this last years (at least for me). When I saw it I got for a moment literally speechless. It's Amazing! I love all of it: the striking pose, it's size (in the case of an ammonite I can appreciate such a small figure), it's details (it looks almost a real animal) and it's color scheme. My vote for it is 11/10 (although such an exceptional figure should have an even higher vote!)

Belemnite: I'm actually not really interested in it. It's great, but i usually don't collect this type of things (although I'll surely buy that Ammonite). Vote 7/10

Horseshoe Crab: As with the Belemnite, I'm not interested on it. Vote 7/10

Congratulations CollectA for all the incredible figures that you're releasing! I really can't wait to see the Caviramus!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Concavenator

I own the original (2012) version, but out of all the models of Mapusaurus that CollectA have done this one is easily my favorite.

The invertebrates look nice but I'm not interested in that type of creatures.

I'm guessing next week we will see the Diplodocus and the rest of the invertebrates, and we will see the Caviramus last. So I'm guessing there are 2 more weeks to go.

suspsy

I'm really hoping that next week is the final reveal.

And yeah, the Mapusaurus somewhat resembles the Schleich Giganotosaurus. Big deal.

Based on what is left (from that initial list from the Greek website), there should only be one more. I count 8 more reveals total (including extant critters).

Mattyonyx

Given the troubled history between CollectA and Mapusaurus, I'm positively surprised by the new version. It's like the best of both worlds!
About the pose, well... I won't buy the juvenile Giganotosaurus, so for me, it's not a big deal.

I ain't complaining, just an observation. Still looks pretty nice.

Halichoeres

That Pleuroceras is really beautiful. I wonder if they actually had input from a paleontologist on this one. The belemnite is pretty cool, too. I like to think it's Clarkeiteuthis, the one that a paper earlier this year showed with a Leptolepis tangled in its arm-hooks (http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7918.msg232968). Maybe next year they'll release a little Leptolepis for it to eat (but, um, not really holding my breath).
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

At first I even though it was again the allosaurus but in a different pose ...  ::) I think the sculpture is really good but those colors ... I really like that they have no bases. I don't buy figures with fixed bases.

I'll get the ammonite to display with my fossils. It looks really nice. And the trilobite will be a perfect pair.

suspsy

I wonder if the belemnite can be stood up on the tips of its tentacles.

The belemnite and Pleuroceras are nice figures, and also appropriately sized for my tastes (the horseshoe crab is a bit large for my liking). I don't care much about the Mapusaurus either way.

ceratopsian

While I can see that there are sculptural differences between the Allosaurus and Mapusaurus, at first glance they look awfully alike.  A different paint scheme would have helped a bit!  Their great similarity won't help sales, I would have thought, if they are displayed on a shop shelf together.

Part 4 is probably gonna be Caviramus, Diplodocus, Orthoceras, Redlichia Rex Trilobite and Nautilus Pompilius

The excitement and suspense about the revelation of novelties of Collecta 2020 will last until the last month of November. We only have one week left to know the entire lineup of Collecta 2020. The Caviramus pterosario and orthocera invertebrates and Redlichia Rex Trilobite are the most anticipated extinct animals of that last batch of revelations. I count the days.

Caviramus

Redlichia rex

Orthoceras

Nautilus pompilius

Diplodocus (repaint)

Okay so let's get this out of the way: The colours on the Caviramus are absolutely nasty. The pink clashes with the green in a very bad way. The lack of patterns/other colours on the crest makes it look very boring. Very disappointed with this clown paint, probably even worse than the Estemmenosuchus.
But other than the horrendous paint scheme, the figure looks great! The sculpt is on point as usual.

The orthoceras is a must have. "Orthocones" are surprisingly rare in toy form, despite them being relatively well known. Though I would've preferred if the poses of the 3 cephalopods were not identical.

And for the diplodocus... CollectA's laziness is showing. First with the Malayan Tapir, now with one of the most iconic sauropods. Easy pass, very disappointing.
