Ok so while I was picking up a couple of kaiyodos from Akihabara, Tokyo, I chanced upon these guys. (Pardon the many photos)

Other than the Tsintao and para's from kaiyodo, the para, lambe, maiasaura and quetzal are from the same set. They seem to be made from a similar plastic to Kaiyodo's.
Any idea where these guys are from?

The Tsintaosaurus is not Kaiyodo--it is a Bandai "The Complete Works of Dinosaur" figure. There may have been a Dinosaur King tie-in as well, I can't remember that. But there were at least 8 dinos in the set (Tyrannosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Irritator, Allosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and Saichania). The Tsintaosaurus and Irritator are the best parts of the set.

"B & Aki" on the base. Maiasaura is numbered 9 as shown. The largest number on the base I found is 19.

The set also includes a pachycephalosaurus (no pic included).

Any idea where these guys are from?

The "B" stands for Bakker as in Robert Bakker, the paleontologist and "Aki" stands for Araki Kazunari, my favorite Japanese dinosaur sculptor.

Hi. Can anyone identify this small, neon green T.rex? Funnily, it's shaped like its Schleich "parents".  :))

suchomimus

@SBell Ah thanks for that! Doesn't seem to be in the Dinosaur Groups thread so I was curious haha. I have the Saichania, Stego and Allo too! :))

@docronnie Hmm now that makes sense! Such a relief they aren't some knockoff chinasaur set but a noble aki's.

Any ideas where I might view the full Kayaba set? I don't seem to be google-ing the right thing

EmperorDinobot

I have an idea what this is, but I also don't want it in my collection. I need a full name so I can sell it in my store. What is this?

It's almost as big a The Lost World Jurassic Park Parasaurolophus. And does anyone want it? I kinda do, but there's no space. Is it one of those Definitely Dinosaurs from 1988 that came out the year I was born? Anyone wanna trade it for an Ultrasaurus? *chortle* I mostly want it gone.

tyrantqueen

It's a Playskool Definitely Dinosaurs Anatosaurus.

I thought so. Just wasn't sure.

BTW, does the new TF cartoon plan on releasing the Ankylosaur TF on your sig or is it just gonna be that Grimlock?

Ikessauro

Please, ID this model. Looks like some customized T.rex to look like JW Rex with battle scars. Got the pictures from a Facebook page, the person who posted it said it belonged to him, but I doubt it, he doesn't give any aditional information, plus, the guy is a little kid who I know lies a lot online.  :P
Likes to pretend he's got stuff he doesn't have (I know, it is sad :-[ :().

The point is, I like the statue, the pose, detail and specially the scars. It would be nice to know who made it.

I haven't seen anything so far, but I hope so. Some of the RID Decepticons have really cool designs and need toys (Ped, Filch, Chop Shop etc.) and it's not like Hasbro to miss an opportunity.

Wow, that does look very nice for a JP Rex. I'm interested too.

I guess one of those Tiny Titan figures might be the most likely.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no
