Well, here's the big vinyl Dippy:

I think a more subtle paint job could improve this figure.

SidB

Very nice, lots of potential, especially with the size. After all, we aren't getting many big sauropods these days.

Yikes, no kidding, were they trying to get all the primary colors on there?

Jose S.M.

That's a looong Dippy! Yeah those colors are not the best choice and I would like to see a close up of the head. I don't know if it's because the size of the photo but it doesn't look like the typical Diplodocus head.

I don't mind. I like it when Dinosaurs show a bit more variety than the usual greens, greys or browns.  And if you are that big, there is little use to camouflage, so you might as well show off to impress the ladies. Could also be a warning to carnivores. "You mess with me, you get the whip!"
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Finally a large new Diplodocus, that's neat! The colours could maybe use some more earthy tones but I agree with avatar_CityRaptor @CityRaptor , it's a nice change from the usual colorations, especially for sauropods who didn't necessarily need camouflage (and ofc large land mammals are usually rather drab but I don't wanna derail this into a discussion of dinosaur colors :D)
What I don't like are the exposed teeth, it would look much more graceful with a closed mouth.

Dinoxels

Feels very BOTM with the colors, probably going to nab this one.
Most (if not all) Rebor figures are mid

Still not feeling that Quetz sculpt. I like these colours on the large vinyl better than the smaller soft model though.

Andreioli

Now that's a proper Azhdarchid figure !
Paint job is better the the Diplo too.

Judging by the comparison with the vinyl Pteranodon, which has a wingspan of 52 cm:

the Quetzalcoatlus could have a whopping wingspan of 60-70 cm !

PrimevalRaptor

Not too big on the sculpt myself but this color scheme is a giant improvement! Love the stripe on the neck and it's about time we're getting some large azhdarchid models!

DragonRider02

I really want that Quetz, it seems to be super big!

The new "soft models" are available on HLJ: https://www.hlj.com/more/real-science?series=19442

Also, all six new sculpts will be available in "Paint-Your-Own" versions, per Favorite's blog.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Are these really available, I had heard that Japanese postal services were not shipping items at this time?

Japanese post isn't sending stuff out yet, but I ordered a Favorite Iguanodon which was sent by Fedex and that arrived here in a week.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.
