In hand photos of the new baby Sinoceratops:

Honestly the pups of tyrannosaurus and sinoceratops look very good, but comparing them to the sinoceratops of Nanmu I see that the brood of sinoceratops is not as big as I thought, I thought it was bigger judging by the video of Zhao Chuang presenting the pup of tyrannosaurus Perhaps it is that Zhao Chuang is smaller than I think or it could be due to an illusion of the video that apparently makes the baby l sinoceratops that was seen on top of a box and the baby of the tyrannosaurus look bigger than normal.

I think, seeing these images, that I made a good purchase. I like the coloration. I hope that the eyes are the upgraded type of version 2, not the original Wilson.

Yesterday I received my baby T.Rex I ordered from Aliexpress.
So, first of all, the paint is nowhere as good as on the Prototype images. They didn't even bother to paint the teeth or claws! Also the front limbs are just the same colors as rest of body. Because of it the figure looks/feels kind of cheap in some areas, especially the feet. I think it could be fixed with some dark paint wash to bring out details. At least the eye is nice and quite glossy. Also overall color sheme reminds me a lot of Sinosauropteryx.
The sculpt is excellent, though. I really love it. It's the cutest T.Rex I have ever seen. The pose and big eyes give it a lot of character. It reminds me of little playful and curious kitten which just looked up and spotted something interesting.
Overall I am really happy to finally have it in my collection, despite much less complex paintjob.

Head close-up. I think I am gonna paint his teeth myself.

ceratopsian

Disappointing about not painting the teeth and claws.  This might well be an excellent candidate for a dab of paint.  And you are right about the colours being reminiscent of Sinosauropteryx.

SidB

Nice figure - certainly not a write-off because of the painting shortfalls
Worth a minor touch-up. Guess that they were trying to save a bit on production costs.

avatar_DragonRider02 @DragonRider02, would you be able to post some size comparison photos of that baby with other T. rex toys, preferably ones by CollectA, Papo, Safari, or Schleich?

avatar_DragonRider02 @DragonRider02 what texture are those PNSO figures? Do they feel like Kaiyodo figures?

omg the eyes kinda freak me out, they're a little too realistic, everything else is cute and cartoony and the eyes are uncanny valley- land.  :-\

I don't own any Kaiyodo figures, so I can't compare them. All I can say is that it's solid matte plastic.

They're basically photorealistic. They actually look like they were printed on something very thin and then perfectly glued on. I looked at them closely by light and they even have microscopic red veins.

Do they come in separate piece and you put them together, or do they come in one piece? And are they fragile? Sorry for the questions, I don't have any PNSO figures but I'm looking forward to getting the mini Proceratosaurus.

They come in one piece, and aren't particularly fragile (no more so than most dinosaur toys discussed here).

avatar_suspsy @suspsy  The light is better now so I could take some comparison photos with other Rexes. The photos are not the best quality, but I think it's enough to see how the Baby compares with others. It's only with Collecta and Schleich, I don't have any Safari and Papo Rexes :C

with CollectA family

with Schleich green Rex

with Schleich Juvenile

Very good, thanks! Glad to see that the little feller is big, but not too big!

No news on the Borealopelta, Parasaurolophus and the other figures yet, right?

I threw in a few more comparisons incase anyone was curious. The baby T-rex figure has its minor flaws but for the price that it costs I don't think you can complain.
