A note to those receiving old Bullyland figures during this time: Do not use sanitizer on them, it dissolves the paint.

I think the best thing to do is take the package. Then wash your hands with hydroalcolic disinfectant and quarantine for about four or five days in a separate place. It is better than using disinfectant. Spoil PVC, vinyl, and even resin figurines of dinosaurs.

suspsy

I haven't been bothering with sanitizing of figures in the mail due to the fact that the virus doesn't last longer than three days on plastic and nothing I've been ordering lately arrives fast. I do still leave the packages in the garage for a couple of days.

QuotePeople tend to think of nothing more else, which I think is much more dangerous than the virus itself.
I don't want to (and we probably won't) see the statistics about how many people have died in 2020
because they did not get the therapy they should. All hospitals are totally obsessed with the Corona virus.

tell me about it, my mother, 77y r old diabetic, needs to have gall bladder surgery and she cant b/c according to her surgeon the hospital committee wont allow her to get admitted. Id rather her have the surgery b/c Im more worried about her inflamed gall bladder getting infected then her getting covid. I hadnt mentioned it b/c i didn't want to get into personal stuff here ...its a nightmare. Stay safe everyone and to those who have lost any friends/loved ones my sincere condolences. :'(

avatar_terrorchicken @terrorchicken I am very sorry for your mother's health problems. Hopefully, all the health problems in her gallbladder end well and with a little luck, with the help of God and Life, everything will turn out well and your mother will not catch it. Be of good cheer. You know where you have me on the forum.

The island of Hokkaido has had to resume social distancing after a second wave hit them. I fear that the USA is going to be hit extremely hard in the coming weeks due to all the ridiculous protesting that's been going on.

It is very likely, if not sooner, then later. There is a natural and logical corrective to unrestrained egoism, selfishness and sheer stupidity. Unfortunately, other innocent folk will also suffer.

I saw the Videos and Articles. Feels and looks like a trash b-movie. But i do not want to get deeper into this, because it changes nothing at all.

This entire epidemic has felt like a trash B-movie to me.

thanks you shonisaurus , I'm trying to watch her diet (no fatty foods) that might trigger another gall bladder attack. Hopefully she will be able to hold out until this is over or at least a vaccine is found so she can then have her surgery.

sauroid

i just read in the news that restrictions have been lifted in those European countries with very high coronavirus casualties. all i can say is, good luck to those people. they will need it. :(

We are very selfish here in Spain. The goverment says: You can go out with the children 1 hour a day, but people here go out as much as they want. There are some periods reserved for older people and children, but people use excuses to go out also in those periods, taking out the dog, go shopping or buy the newspaper. You are allowed to walk once a day, but people go in the morning and in the evening for hours. Yesterday I saw people sitting on benches or on the grass, which is not allowed.

In hospital the situation is better, but I fear it will get worse.

In Madrid people go out en masse to do sports. I believe that many people look for that excuse to go out and stretch their legs, although I see from my window that the de-escalation activity is underway. It should not be in my personal opinion to keep your guard and you should be cautious so that you can prevent another pandemic in Spain as it began with the confinement of last March 14.

I understand that people should be more responsible, especially the youngest (from children to people under the age of sixty), not only for their own good, but also for the well-being of our elderly and to avoid repeating situations from the past.

avatar_Duna @Duna Totally in accordance with what you say, in Madrid a bottle was held that was not allowed by young people and they fined each one of the members of that bottle with a 1000 euros fine. You have to have a little consideration. De-escalation yes but you have to have a little common sense and above all younger people who have a whole life ahead must be less selfish.

thats exactly what happened to countries who became complacent because they thought "the coast was clear" right after the government lifted the restrictions, they started going out like theyve been imprisoned for years and like no plagued ever happened, then the worst thing happened, they got a second wave which was even worse than the original contagion, and EVEN DEADLIER.

That's exactly what's happening here in north Queensland - the restrictions have been eased and everyone's bumbling about in droves. Not that these filthy idiots ever took it seriously in the first place. I have never been more disgusted with humanity and I hesitate to say it, but... nuh, I can't type what I really think. What it comes down to is, I think we're doomed, and by our own actions at that. We've ruined the planet and now we've created the conditions necessary for an Extinction Level Event. Mass suicide by sheer stupidity. Call me melodramatic if you must, but this has been a sneak peek at the very least, of our demise.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

i agree with you. what we have left is hope, that somehow we would have an effective vaccine and cure for the virus as soon as possible. :(

Bottle? A translation error, perhaps?

I think he means when people get together in a open area (a park, a field...) to get drunk, we use the term "Botellón" for that. But "Botellón" also means "big bottle" in Spanish, hence the translation error.

Shonisaurus

avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum It is called the bottle party. That is to say that young people drink alcohol without measure I have not found a translation to the word.
