I could already imagine the concept art of a BoTM styled concept art for adzarchids

A few years back, before the Raptor line even, David had this concept image for the line showing several different species. Been trying to dig it up again but no luck so far.

Is this the one you're looking for? I found it in the "Dinosaur action figure concepts" Album on his Facebook, took me a bit to find it haha

yep thats it!   gives you ideas maybe what animals David likes.

Giganotosaurus

I wonder how much Gorgosaurus and Albertosaurus will cost, something like $130 each? Yikes, that would be a ton!

I love all the Jurassic movies, plus Disney's Dinosaur

suspsy

Well, both of them are going to be significantly smaller than the T. rex, so I would guess that they'd likely be under $100 US. We'll just have to wait and see.

I will say this again too: if the fourth BotM series does turn out to be hadrosaurs, and it includes both Magnapaulia and Shantungosaurus in 1/18 scale, then woe to wallets everywhere. Those guys will be absolute behemoths.

Appalachiosaurus

The Ceratopsians have a pretty good sliding scale of sizes, but T. rex basically dwarfs every other member of its lineage, which means a lot of plastic with no shared molds so a much bigger spike in costs. Don't be too shocked if it breaks $200.

TBH the same could be said for Triceratops, in terms of it dwarfing most other ceratopsians. But yeah I don't expect the Tyrannosaurus to be cheap, and certainly wouldn't be surprised if it reaches around $200 or so.

I agree with you daspletosaurus is the same size with triceratops so I think they will be 130$ but  maybe theres more articulation on the tyrannosaurs so the prize will get more expennsive but either way I will get  pachyrhinosaurus and gorgosaurus.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy I'll be honest I had no idea those were much smaller then T. rex. Thought they were a tad bit smaller. Looked it up and they seem around the size of Yutyrannus, if not a bit bigger. Glad to know this as it may save a little bit on costs for these.

Depending on how the kickstarter works when it goes live, I am probably going to go with the juvenile rex, the 1/35 WWD one, and hopefully the Guanlong and Yutyrannus. Then if/when I can afford to do so I would also like to get the Gorgosaurus, Dryptosaurus, Tarbosaurus, and of course the adult 1\18th T. rex, and maybe the Dilong as well, but I kind of also want to wait and see a while for a possible 1/18th version of it to scale with the contemporary(?) Yutyrannus. Edit: Forgot for a moment the Suskityrannus, to go with Zuniceratops. Oops.

I don't know how much it will be, but I'm certain it will be the most I've ever spent on a dinosaur.  >:D

Gothmog the Baryonyx

If the Dryptosaurus uses the same basic body as the Yutyrannus, I wonder whether that one will have any feathers too?

That Yuryannus looks gorgous with a properly feathered face at last.
I plan to get that (unless a smaller figure with a feathered face should materialise in the meantime) and the Proceratosaurus and Eotyrannus,  maybe something else as well, but as with the Ceratopsians, I will not be getting many of these as they're just so darned big, and if it's not a big sauropod I don't want a massive figure of it really.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Juvenile T. rex is all painted up now. More pics coming soon too.

Edit: Forgot to mention the posing rod is apparently a temporary one while a new one is worked on.

Easily by far one of my top favorite takes on this animal ever, and this is just a (long over due) juvenile. The earless monitor coloration translated so well onto this sculpt.

The base is looking really nice as well, and of course I can't help but wonder what it would look like alongside the accessory pack ones. I really hope that if the adult has a base as well, that the two could be joined together side by side (like the raptor bases with the accessory ones).

Reminds me of the Zuniceratops a bit.

Shonisaurus

I really like that figure not only for its realistic paint color and it is a lipless theropod. What I didn't know was that juvenile tyrannosaurs had such an elongated sickle. My lifelong view of the juvenile tyrannosaurus was not that. However, he is a scientific figure, rather highly scientific. But I have to confess that I mistook it for a qianzhousaurus.

But that said, these theropods, tyrannosaurus and their family are even better in quality than their ceratopsid counterparts.

Some of the ceratopsians are actually just as good as the tyrannosaurs seen so far in my opinion. Those being the Styracosaurus,Medusaceratops, Protoceratops,Psittacosaurus and Triceratops. :)
So far the tyrannosaurs I'm most curious to see finished sculpts of are the Tarbosaurus and Yutyrannus.
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

Bit curious myself to see if the Tarbosaurus is different enough from the T.rex to warrant purchasing.
