Strawberry Crocodile

I'm not going to lie, after how long it took to get decently sculpted nonavian dinosaurs with feathers, it gives me some schadenfreude to see featherless t rex go without!

That said, here's some wishes
-Australovenator (needs more love!)
-Simbakubwa (terrestrial mammalian predators bigger than a polar bear deserve love, and tbh hyaenadonts dont get enough toys)
-Therizinosaurus (There's still not a really great therizinosaurus out there! CollectA's is close but it looks like it has mange and the posture is too horizontal)
-Synthetocerus or similar! (There's so many Weird animals in prehistory that need love!)

I really agree with this list. Especially the Therizinosaurus. Safari has a beautiful Deinocheirus, so hopefully they can pull off a stunning Therizinosaurus. I am kind of shocked that CollectA's is the only decent one on the market.

Shonisaurus

Following the tyrannosauroid line, I would like a reissue of the syraptor, albertosaurus, and gorgosaurus from the Carnegie and Safari lines. We need more tyrannosauroids other than tyrannosaurus rex. I understand that the sale of animal figures similar to the king of the extinct animals tyrannosaurus rex will mean huge profits for the Safari brand and even any brand of toy dinosaurs.

Sim

I agree with avatar_Bread @Bread that it would be great to have more Triassic dinosaurs and that Plateosaurus would be great!  I'd also very much like Herrerasaurus from Safari.  In addition to those two, I'd also like:

- Rhamphorhynchus, Dorygnathus or Eudimorphodon.  I'm not buying another pterosaur figure until someone makes an accurate figure of one of these pterosaurs.

- Saurornithoides.  Troodontids are fascinating and there's basically no options for figures of them.  Preferably this would be in the same scale as the Safari 2017 Velociraptor.

- Cryolophosaurus with feathers.

- Buitreraptor

- Utahraptor or Sinornithosaurus

- A bipedal Scelidosaurus

- Chasmosaurus

avatar_Gothmog the Baryonyx @Gothmog the Baryonyx, I too would like a break in tyrannosaurids.  Two in two years is more than enough, it's time to let other prehistoric animals get made.  If an alvarezsaurid were to be made I think Shuvuuia would be the best choice as it's the most complete.  I also like your choice of Eustreptospondylus, it would be great to have a good figure of it!

Strawberry Crocodile

Oof, I bet a bipedal scelidosaurus would be an absolute monster to balance broperly

I think it could work, maybe have it rest on the fingertips of one of its hands.

My wish is that at least some of the Safari 2022 figures were of a dark prehistoric dinosaur or animal for collecting. We need new and even new species in the toy dinosaur market.

Faelrin

I would really like to see Chasmosaurus, Centrosaurus, Cryolophosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Eoraptor, Utahraptor, Maiasaura or Ouranosaurus, Edmontonia, and Borealopelta as far as dinosaurs go.

As far as mammals go I would like to see Megaloceros, Synthetoceras, and/or the Stag Moose Cervalces scotti. Maybe an Elasmotherium in scale with the Woolly Rhino.

As far as anything else that isn't a dinosaur or mammal goes I would like to see a new Desmatosuchus, Plesiosaurus, Mosasaurus, Tanystropheus, and maybe a new Dunkleosteus based on the updated tail. Or anything from the Paleozoic.

A new prehistoric toob. Anything goes, I just want to see another, even if it was an update on their really old dinosaur toobs. I mean they have a prime selection of models they could shrink down as minis like the 2017 Velociraptor, 2018 Triceratops, etc.

You mean a dark horse?

If I take your meaning properly, I wonder if "obscure" would be a more effective word here than "dark" :)

Shonisaurus

avatar_Strawberry Crocodile @Strawberry Crocodile avatar_Patrx @Patrx I'm talking about a rare prehistoric dinosaur or animal on the toy market, for example a little treated dinosaur tsintaosaurus or a paraceratherium for example. In that I meant the dark animal, perhaps I did not know how to express myself well and I am sorry.

With safari's luck, the new Cryolophosaurus paper would come out right after they sculpt the figure
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

Daspletodave

Centrosaurus, Chasmosaurus, Torosaurus, Pentaceratops
Corythosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Shantungosaurus
Plateosaurus, Camptosaurus, Ornithomimus, Struthiomimus
and maybe a small species (too often ignored) like Lesothosaurus or Heterodontosaurus.

SenSx

- Gigantoraptor
- Galliminus

The two big omissions in my collection.

Strawberry Crocodile

Ooo I would LOVE a gigantoraptor. Large theropods who aren't specialized into the hypercarnivore niche are so unappreciated by toy manufacturers. I suppose it just doesn't sell to 6 year olds...

I think Gigantoraptor is kind of fragmentary, if I recall correctly there was some discussion years ago about it and Therizinosaurus absence for the line and one of the arguments made against those was that their skulls are not well known. I have the impression that at least mr Doug Watson prefers to sculpt mostly complete animals, so that would diminish the chances of seeing those made by him, I can't say about other sculptors though

suspsy

Gigantoraptor is complete enough that a full skeletal reconstruction of it was featured in avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum's museum. I reckon a toy would be totally fine. Also, keep in mind that while Doug has his personal preferences, it is still Safari's final call on what gets made and and what doesn't.

I was talking about the skull, from what I remember only the lower jaw was known but I don't know for sure.

Halichoeres

I would definitely like a Gallimimus. There hasn't been a good one in decades.
